To find a vacuum that can clean under your bed, measure the tightest usable clearance—not just the space at the bed’s edge—and compare it with the vacuum’s stated height. Leave extra room: a near-exact fit can still get stuck, and fitting beneath the frame does not guarantee the robot can navigate or clean well there.
The available specifications support a useful shortlist of six model families, not a verified ranking of 15. The picks below are manufacturer-documented fit candidates; they are not independent cleaning-test winners. Confirm the exact model, regional version, and current availability before buying.

How to tell whether a vacuum will fit under your bed
- Measure the tightest point. Measure from the floor to the lowest obstruction along the robot’s route, including bed rails, crossbars, slats, hanging bedding or a dust ruffle, and uneven flooring. Check more than one point if the floor or frame is not level.
- Compare with the exact model’s height. Use the manufacturer-stated height for the specific model and variant—not a similar product’s dimensions or a broad family listing.
- Allow a margin. Do not treat a height match as a guarantee. eufy Support warns, “If the clearance under your furniture is slightly above the height of your RoboVac, there is a slim chance that the RoboVac may get stuck.”
- Check how it navigates in low spaces. A robot can physically fit while its sensors cannot map or detect obstacles effectively beneath the bed. Consider whether it can enter the area during mapping, and whether furniture legs or clutter leave enough space to turn.
For example, a 3.2-inch-tall robot is only a fit candidate if the tightest point on its route is comfortably higher than 3.2 inches. A specification is a screening tool, not evidence that the robot will traverse every frame or clean the whole area.
Which slim robot vacuums have published low-clearance specifications?
These are the candidates with model-specific or manufacturer-published height information established here. The figures come from manufacturers, not a shared independent measurement protocol. Prices, current availability, and comparative cleaning results are not established, so the list is not a ranked “best 15.”

Read the product’s full specifications for the exact market and suffix you plan to buy. Model names can be similar while height, sensor hardware, or features differ. The manufacturer pages provide the stated specifications: Roborock Saros 20, ECOVACS slim robot vacuums, TP-Link Tapo RV20 Max, and Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 5. eufy’s model-family guidance is on its RoboVac furniture-clearance support page.
Why a robot’s height does not tell the whole story
Navigation sensors need room, too
Low-profile designs can use different approaches to navigation, and the behavior may matter as much as the body height. Xiaomi’s Robot Vacuum 5 uses a retractable radar and has a stated access claim for spaces higher than 9.5 cm, but Xiaomi says the robot does not enter those spaces during mapping. Plan for that limitation if it needs to map the room before cleaning.

Sensor performance can also impose a higher practical clearance than the physical body requires. Narwal recommends 5.1–5.5 inches (13–14 cm) for effective LiDAR detection and navigation under furniture for the models covered in its support guidance. Getting in is different from cleaning effectively
A robot may enter but fail to reach dust near the bed’s edges, around supports, or in a narrow dead end. Compare brush and edge-cleaning design, obstacle handling, and whether the unit can turn around in the available space. A suction-pressure number, such as a manufacturer’s Pa rating, is not by itself proof of better pickup on your flooring.

Flooring and debris change the practical choice
Think about the surface beneath the bed, the debris you need to collect, and what blocks the route. Hard floors, rugs, pet hair, loose cables, storage bins, and raised thresholds pose different demands. A very low body is not useful if the robot cannot cross the threshold or safely handle the obstacles on the way in.

- Exact clearance: Your tightest measured route is comfortably taller than the exact robot variant.
- Navigation behavior: The manufacturer explains how sensors work in low spaces and whether the robot can map or clean there as you expect.
- Coverage: Brush reach and edge cleaning suit the shape of the bed and the space between its supports.
- Home conditions: The robot can handle the floor covering, debris, thresholds, and clutter under your bed.
- Ownership details: Check dock dimensions, maintenance needs, replacement consumables, warranty, regional availability, and current price on the seller’s or manufacturer’s listing. These details can vary and should be checked for the exact SKU.
There is no defensible way to name 15 “best” models from the published height and feature information above: additional models would need reliable height specifications and enough comparable cleaning evidence. Treat the documented options as a starting shortlist, then verify fit and navigation against your own bed.
