Two manufacturer-documented options are the SANUS VLF728 and ECHOGEAR EGLF2. Neither is a universal winner: check your television’s weight and VESA pattern, the wall framing, and whether the mount can extend and rotate without hitting a wall or furniture.
What kind of mount gives you a swivel viewing angle?
A full-motion mount uses an articulating arm to pull the TV away from the wall and turn it toward different seats. A fixed mount holds the screen in one position; a tilt-only mount changes its vertical angle but does not provide the same side-to-side movement. Tom’s Guide distinguishes these mount styles in its 2025 TV wall mount buying guide.
Published swivel figures are not necessarily directly comparable: manufacturers may define or present angle differently. Even where a mount allows substantial rotation, the TV’s width and nearby walls or objects can restrict how far it can actually turn. Treat the listed maximum as a specification to check against your room, not a guarantee of a usable angle from every installation.

The figures come from the respective manufacturers’ product pages: SANUS VLF728 and ECHOGEAR EGLF2. A missing specification in the table is not evidence that a mount has no limit; use the exact model’s manual to confirm fit before buying or installing.

SANUS VLF728: longer listed extension
SANUS lists support for 42–90-inch TVs, 57° of swivel in either direction, and 28 inches of extension. Its product page links an installation manual and technical drawing. The page displayed $429.99 when crawled, but that is a volatile listing price, not a verified current price or value comparison.
ECHOGEAR EGLF2: listed weight, VESA, and stud-spacing limits
ECHOGEAR lists a 42–90-inch TV range, 125 lb capacity, VESA patterns from 200×100 through 600×400, and compatibility with 16–24-inch stud spacing. Its stated movement specifications include up to 130° of swivel, 22 inches of extension, a 2.40-inch profile, and tilt of 15° down or 5° up. The manufacturer describes the swivel as letting viewers watch “from anywhere in the room”; that is promotional wording, not a promise that every room permits the full rotation. The page displayed a $114.99 MSRP when crawled; confirm current price and availability separately.

How to check whether a swivel mount fits
- Check the TV’s exact specifications. Find the screen diagonal, weight without its stand, and VESA hole pattern in the TV manual or manufacturer listing. Screen size alone does not establish compatibility.
- Check wall framing and stud spacing. Compare the wall and framing with the mount’s specified limits and installation manual. EGLF2 lists 16–24-inch stud spacing; do not assume that range applies to another mount.
- Measure the room’s required reach and turn. Consider how far the TV must extend to clear nearby surfaces and which seats it needs to face. Compare that need with the listed extension and swivel, while allowing for the TV’s width and obstacles.
- Read the exact model’s manual before installation. Follow its instructions for the actual wall type and framing. The product pages link manuals, but the available specifications do not establish one safe installation procedure for every wall, including masonry or steel-stud construction.
Which one should you choose?
- Consider the SANUS VLF728 if its documented size range fits your TV and its 28-inch listed extension suits the room. Confirm its weight, VESA, and wall compatibility in the manual before purchase.
- Consider the ECHOGEAR EGLF2 if your TV falls within its listed weight, VESA, and size limits and your framing matches its 16–24-inch stud-spacing specification.
- Choose neither on swivel angle alone. A maximum angle is useful only if the TV, arm, wall, and nearby objects leave enough clearance for the direction you need.
