Choose faux fur for a plush, solid-color look
The faux-fur set is the closer match if you want a soft-looking surface and coordinated pieces in one listed package. Its solid-color design may suit a bedroom where texture, rather than a printed pattern, is the main feature. Its machine-wash listing may also appeal if you prefer a simpler stated care routine.
Choose chenille for a textured geometric design
The ecru chenille set has a different character: cotton chenille, a tufted geometric pattern, and polyester fill. It is the option to consider if you want a pale, patterned focal point and need a California king size among the listed dimensions. Its care guidance calls for more attention than the faux-fur listing’s machine-wash statement.

Check fit by measurement, not bed-size label alone
Compare the listed comforter dimensions with your mattress and the amount of side drape you want. The nominal size names are not enough: the two listings give different measurements even for queen and king. Mattress depth, bed height, and how the comforter sits over the sides all affect the finished look.
- Measure the mattress width and length, and account for the drop you want on each side.
- Compare those measurements with the comforter dimensions for the exact size and variant you plan to buy.
- Check bedskirt dimensions and drop separately if a bedskirt is part of the set; a comforter’s fit does not establish the bedskirt’s fit.
Review care instructions and package contents
Care
The Bed Bath & Beyond faux-fur listing says the set is machine washable. The Touch of Class chenille listing advises cold water, mild detergent, no bleach, a low-temperature wash, and prompt removal from the dryer. Follow the current product listing and the sewn-in care label for your exact item, especially if instructions differ.

Check the selected size and variant’s package details to see what is actually included and whether coordinating items are separate purchases.
Keep comforter sets distinct from quilt sets
Bed Bath & Beyond also lists a Serenta 7-piece Bedspread Quilt Set. It is a related coordinated-bedding option, but its category is quilt or bedspread—not comforter. If you are considering it, compare its coverlet dimensions and included pieces with your needs rather than treating it as another comforter set.

Check the name before choosing a product
Serenta and Serena are different spellings. A separately named “Serena” comforter set from Lush Decor is not evidence about Serenta products; verify the brand name on the product listing before comparing features.
