Test first, then clean cautiously
- Check the fabric’s cleaning code and the machine manual. Make sure the surface is approved and the solution is compatible with that model.
- Apply the solution and cleaner to a hidden, inconspicuous area, following the manufacturer’s directions.
- Let the test area dry completely and check for a color change. Stop if the fabric’s color changes.
- If the test is acceptable, clean the spot according to the machine instructions. Avoid treating a larger area or a different material as safe based only on this one test.
- After cleaning, follow the manual’s instructions for emptying and rinsing tanks and caring for the hose and tools.
Choose cleaning solution by machine compatibility
