The best nonstick pressure cooker depends first on whether you want a stovetop cooker or an electric multicooker—and then on the exact pot coating, capacity, cooktop compatibility, care instructions, and availability of a compatible replacement pot. Hawkins offers a ceramic-nonstick stovetop range, Xiaomi documents a PTFE-coated electric model, and Ninja sells a ceramic-coated replacement pot for specific Foodi cookers. They are different kinds of products, not interchangeable contenders in a single tested ranking.

How to choose a nonstick pressure cooker

Start with the appliance type, since it determines how you use the cooker and what features to compare. After that, confirm the coating and its care instructions for the exact model. If you would rather avoid a coated cooking surface, consider a stainless-steel pot instead.

  • Appliance type: A stovetop pressure cooker is not the same product category as an electric pressure multicooker. Compare each with appliances of the same type.
  • Cooking surface: Product descriptions may specify PTFE nonstick, ceramic nonstick, or stainless steel without a chemical coating. Those labels are product-specific, not a universal ranking.
  • Capacity: Match the stated capacity to your household and cooking needs; the examples below include a 4.8L electric cooker and a 6.5-quart replacement pot, which are not the same model or measure.
  • Compatibility: For stovetop cookers, check that the model suits your cooktop. For electric cookers, verify that a replacement pot is listed for your exact appliance model.
  • Care and safety: Follow the model’s manual for utensils, cleaning, fill levels, pressure release, and opening. Do not assume one brand’s directions apply to another.

The available product information does not establish a universal winner or controlled side-by-side performance tests across these models.

Nonstick pressure cookers and pots to compare

Option Type and surface Compatibility and care What to know
Hawkins Ceramic Nonstick Induction Pressure Cooker Stovetop cooker; Hawkins describes a German ceramic nonstick coating. Hawkins says the range works on gas and induction. Check the exact model and local listing. A ceramic-coated stovetop example, not an electric multicooker. Hawkins says the range does not contain PFAS or heavy metals; this is the manufacturer’s product claim.
Xiaomi Electric Pressure Cooker 4.8L Electric pressure cooker; Xiaomi says its inner pot has a water-based PTFE nonstick coating. Follow the instructions for the exact cooker; local availability may vary. Xiaomi’s claims about food-contact compliance, durability, and cooking benefits are manufacturer statements, not independent comparative findings.
Ninja Foodi replacement inner pot 102FY300 6.5-quart replacement pot; Ninja describes it as ceramic-coated and PTFE- and PFOA-free. Ninja lists specific compatible Foodi models and says the pot is dishwasher-safe. Match your appliance’s model number to Ninja’s list before ordering. This is a replacement part, not a complete pressure cooker, and it does not fit every Foodi model.
Instant Pot stainless-steel inner pot Electric pressure-cooker pot; Instant Pot describes it as food-grade 304 (18/8) stainless steel with no chemical coating. Instant Pot says the pot is dishwasher-safe; check the instructions for your cooker. A coating-free cooking-surface alternative. Stainless steel is a different surface choice, not a nonstick coating.
Tefal Secure 5 Neo Stainless-steel stovetop pressure cooker. Tefal’s regional page lists induction and other cooktop compatibility. Confirm local model specifications. The cited regional product page lists a safe-closing system, pressure-control valve, safety valve, and gasket-leakage feature; availability and specifications can vary by market.

Stovetop ceramic nonstick: Hawkins

Hawkins describes its Ceramic Nonstick Induction Pressure Cooker range as suitable for gas and induction stovetops, and its domestic catalog labeled 2025 includes the series. The range is a stovetop option; check the specific capacity, model, and listing available in your market. See Hawkins’ product information and 2025 domestic catalog.

Electric PTFE nonstick: Xiaomi 4.8L

Replacement nonstick pots: check the exact Ninja model

Ninja’s 102FY300 is a 6.5-quart ceramic-coated replacement inner pot that Ninja describes as PTFE- and PFOA-free and dishwasher-safe. Its compatibility list includes FD302, FD305, OP300, OP301, OP302, and OP305, among other variants. The part number alone is not enough: compare your cooker’s model number against Ninja’s complete compatibility list before ordering. Ninja’s 102FY300 product and compatibility page.

Care instructions can be model-specific even within a brand. In the Ninja Foodi Smart XL manual, Ninja tells users to use nonstick utensils in the Complete Meal Pot and warns that metal utensils can scratch its nonstick coating. Apply that direction to the named pot and model, and consult your own cooker’s manual for its instructions. Ninja Foodi Smart XL manual.

Instant Pot also says that pot is dishwasher-safe. This offers a clear alternative to coated pots, but whether you prefer stainless steel depends on your cooking and care preferences. Instant Pot FAQs.

The page also lists a safe-closing system, pressure-control valve, safety valve, and gasket-leakage feature. Check the manual before using or cleaning any pressure cooker

Use the instructions for your exact cooker for pressure release, opening, fill limits, and cleaning. A coating label by itself does not establish a universal safety or care rule across brands and models. Product pages and FAQs identify the materials claimed for specific pots, but they do not settle every coating question or provide a comparative durability test.
