Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallIf you want a glass work bowl, the manufacturer-confirmed options here are compact choppers—not full-size food processors with slicing and shredding discs. The clearest examples are Panasonic’s 2.0 L MK-CG401 and Blaupunkt’s 0.8 L CPG601. Choose between them based on batch size and included functions, and check the exact model offered in your region before buying.
Glass-bowl picks: two choppers, not full-size processors
Both manufacturers describe these appliances as choppers. Their glass bowls may suit chopping and similar prep, but the available product details do not establish that either includes the discs and broader functions associated with a full-size food processor.

| Model | Glass bowl capacity | Power and speeds | Stated features | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Panasonic MK-CG401 | 2.0 L | Power and speed count not stated on the cited manufacturer page | Four-layer stainless-steel blade; operation manual linked on the manufacturer page | Panasonic Middle East & Africa |

Panasonic MK-CG401: the larger glass-chopper bowl
Panasonic describes the MK-CG401 as a “2.0 L Glass Chopper” and lists a four-layer stainless-steel blade. Its larger stated bowl capacity makes it the more suitable of these two examples when you expect to chop larger batches. Check the manufacturer’s regional page and linked operation manual for current configuration and instructions.

The CPG601 has a 0.8 L glass bowl, 450 W motor and two speeds according to Blaupunkt. The company lists vegetables, meat, nuts and ice as blade uses, and includes an egg-whisk accessory. Its listed capacity is less than half the Panasonic’s, so it is the more compact-batch option of the two—not a substitute for a processor with slicing and shredding discs.

How to choose the right glass-bowl appliance
Confirm which part is glass
Look for the material specified for the food processor’s work bowl. A glass blender jar, lid or accessory does not establish that the processor bowl is glass. Confirm the exact model and regional version with the manufacturer rather than relying on a product-family name or listing photograph.
Match functions to the jobs you do
Before choosing a chopper, decide whether you need chopping alone or also need slicing and shredding. The two glass-bowl products listed above are identified by their makers as choppers; the available specifications do not establish that either has processor discs. If those functions are essential, verify them explicitly before purchase rather than assuming they come with a glass bowl.

Size batches against stated capacity
The stated bowl capacities are 2.0 L for the Panasonic and 0.8 L for the Blaupunkt. Capacity alone does not establish how much of a particular food can be processed at once, so consult the model’s manual for food-specific limits and operating instructions.
Compare power, speeds and accessories only where specified
Blaupunkt states 450 W, two speeds and an egg whisk for the CPG601. Panasonic’s cited page identifies its four-layer blade but does not state power or speed count there. These specifications are not comparative performance tests: they do not establish which machine chops faster or handles a given ingredient better.

Why a full-size processor may still have a plastic bowl
Glass-bowl availability should not be inferred from a product being sold as a kitchen system or from the material of its blender container. For example, Vitamix’s Ascent X5 SmartPrep includes a 12-cup food processor attachment whose work bowl and lid are specified as Tritan; its separate 48-ounce blender container is also Tritan. It is therefore not a glass-bowl processor option. See the Vitamix Ascent X5 SmartPrep product page for the manufacturer’s component details.

A May 27, 2026 comparison from Kitchen Rare names Ganiza, La Reveuse and Bear glass-bowl choppers as additional possibilities.
