For the quickest safe check, match the symptom to the instructions for your exact AquaRest spa model. Start with the simple items AquaRest lists—power supply, water level, filter, cover, or air-control dials—before considering a replacement part. The troubleshooting table below comes from AquaRest’s UHS manual; AquaRest publishes manuals for multiple spa families, so procedures may differ by model.
Start with the right manual and basic checks
Find the owner manual for your spa model and control system on AquaRest’s owner resources page. The page lists 2025 domestic English manuals for HU2 and UHS models. Use your own manual for any procedure involving components or model-specific settings.

Fixes by symptom
No heat or heat too low
AquaRest’s UHS manual lists an open cover and a dirty filter as possible causes of “NO HEAT OR HEAT TOO LOW.” Close the cover; the manual says, “Ensure that spa cover is properly closed.” Clean the filter as directed in your model’s manual. If the spa still does not heat adequately, consult the matching manual or customer service.
Display or jets will not come on
The UHS manual identifies loss of power to the spa control as a possible cause when the display or jets do not operate. Check the GFCI plug, circuit breaker, and/or disconnect switch as directed by the manual. Do not open electrical equipment or attempt electrical repairs; if power is available but the control or jets remain inactive, use qualified service support.

Weak water flow
A dirty filter and low water level are manufacturer-listed causes of “LOW WATER FLOW.” Confirm that the water level is appropriate for your spa and clean the filter according to the manual before concluding a part has failed. If cleaning does not restore flow and the cartridge is worn, a replacement may be appropriate; verify fit for your spa model and cartridge dimensions before buying.
Jets run but have no air bubbles
For “NO AIR BUBBLES IN JET,” the UHS manual points to a closed air-control valve. Open the venturi/air-control dials as described in your model’s manual.

Leak or slow draining
If you suspect a leak, check whether the drain valve or cap is partly open; the manual says to ensure both are fully closed. If the spa drains slowly, the manual lists a drain valve that is not fully open for draining, a dirty filter, or a kinked garden hose. Open the drain valve fully when draining and route the hose downhill without kinks.
No water flows from the jets
An air lock in the pump is a possible cause of “NO WATER FLOW FROM JETS.” The UHS manual’s stated remedy is to purge the pump. Follow the procedure in the manual for your exact model; if flow does not return, contact AquaRest or a qualified spa technician.

Spa light does not work
The UHS manual lists a burned-out bulb as a possible cause and says to replace the bulb. Confirm the correct part and safe replacement procedure in your model’s manual or with AquaRest before working on the light.
Clean or replace the filter?
Clean a dirty filter as the applicable manual directs before treating weak flow or low heat as evidence of component failure. AquaRest’s FAQ estimates filter life at about one year on average, depending on use; this is usage-dependent guidance, not a guaranteed replacement interval. Some owners keep a second cartridge available while the other is being cleaned.

AquaRest’s parts catalog includes a “2015 Aqua Rest 28 Sq Foot Filter,” but that listing does not establish fit for every spa. Check the spa model and cartridge dimensions against the manual or ask AquaRest before ordering an AquaRest spa replacement filter. The catalog also lists other components; confirm a part’s compatibility with AquaRest before purchase.

AquaRest directs owners to customer service at 1-888-768-6772 for warranty repairs, out-of-warranty service, parts, manuals, or maintenance questions. Electrical troubleshooting beyond the basic power checks, a pump air lock that persists after the model-specific purge procedure, or a light repair you cannot safely verify are reasons to seek service rather than improvise.

AquaRest’s warranty FAQ currently states five years on shell structure, one year on parts with 90 days of on-site labor, and one year on the spa cover. Those headline periods do not determine whether a particular repair is covered. Check the warranty document applicable to your spa, model, region, and purchase date before proceeding.
