Which electric roaster liner should you choose?
There is no universal winner in the available manufacturer specifications. The clearest distinction is the food each liner is designed for:

Can you use a clear roaster liner for turkey?
No. PanSaver’s instructions say to use its clear liners for soups, stews, chili, or casseroles only, and its product information excludes turkey and meat roasting. For turkey, look for a foil liner specifically identified for whole meats and poultry, and check its maximum temperature and fit.

How do you use a clear electric roaster liner?
PanSaver’s clear-liner instructions specify these preparation and placement steps:
- Preheat the roaster to 20°F below the recommended cooking temperature.
- Add 1–2 cups of water for a few minutes.
- Place the liner in the removable pan and drape it over the sides.
- Do not tuck the liner inside the roaster’s base unit.
These directions are specific to PanSaver’s clear liner. Check the instructions that came with your liner and roaster rather than applying them to another product automatically.

Are standard oven bags interchangeable with roaster liners?
No. Reynolds says its standard oven bags should not be used in countertop electric roaster ovens. Use a product specifically labeled for an electric roaster, and follow its instructions; a standard oven bag is not a substitute. Reynolds oven-bag guidance.
Does the warning about foil-lined oven floors apply?
Not in the same way. GE’s warning concerns lining the bottom of a conventional electric range or wall oven with foil; GE says foil there can trap heat or melt and damage the appliance. That is a different placement from using a purpose-made liner in a countertop roaster’s removable pan. Do not line a conventional oven floor with foil, and use a roaster liner only as its manufacturer directs. GE oven guidance.
