How to load a tablet or pod correctly

Should you use rinse aid or a wash booster?
Rinse aid for drying and water spots
Rinse aid is separate from detergent. LG says liquid rinse aid can improve drying and help prevent water spots. Check your manual for the correct way to add it, or see LG’s instructions for adding rinse aid.
Wash booster for hard-water residue
The cited LG manual says a wash booster may help with hard-water spots, residue, and white film. It does not remove excess detergent residue, so adding a booster is not a substitute for correcting an overly large detergent dose.

What to avoid when detergent results are poor
- Hand dish soap: Do not put it in the dishwasher. LG warns it can create excess suds and cause leaks.
