Where does Ariana Grande live? Architectural Digest described the Hollywood Hills house she bought from Cameron Diaz in 2022 as Grande’s current residence in its December 2025 account. That is the latest reviewed reporting, not a confirmation of current legal ownership. Her other widely reported homes—from a Manhattan apartment to a Montecito estate—were later sold, while her Hampstead address in London was a temporary rental.

These are reported transactions, not an audited list of assets or investment returns. A purchase-to-sale price difference alone does not establish profit or loss after expenses, taxes, and other costs.

2018–2021: Chelsea apartment in Manhattan

Grande’s first reported home purchase was a roughly 4,000-square-foot apartment in a Zaha Hadid-designed Chelsea building. Architectural Digest reported in 2025 that she bought it in 2018 for $16 million and sold it in 2021 for $13.5 million. The five-bedroom apartment was part of a building with amenities including an IMAX theater, sauna, spa, and pool. Architectural Digest’s retrospective recounts the property and its reported transaction history.

Pete Davidson later recalled the early domestic setup in a GQ interview, as quoted by Architectural Digest: “She’s really sweet. She’s like, ‘This is our house,’ and I’m like, ‘You’re very nice for saying that. Thank you for letting me stay here.’” He also joked, “It’s like, we have six beanbags, but we have no forks —you know what I mean? We’re learning how to be adults. We’re having a really fun time.” The remarks describe Davidson’s recollection of the apartment, not Grande’s own account of its purchase.

2020–2021: Modern Hollywood Hills home

In June 2020, Grande paid a reported $13.7 million for a newly built, three-story home in the Bird Streets area of the Hollywood Hills. The Los Angeles Times reported that iDGroup designed it in collaboration with Woods + Dangaran, with the plan oriented toward canyon-to-ocean views. The house had more than 10,000 square feet, four bedrooms, seven bathrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, an infinity-edge pool, fitness studio, cedar-lined wellness center, bar, and 300-bottle wine cellar. The Times said it had previously been offered for $25.5 million and later $17.495 million before Grande’s off-market purchase. The Los Angeles Times reported the purchase and home details in June 2020.

The Los Angeles Times reported in October 2021 that Grande sold the property for $14 million. The $300,000 difference between the two reported transaction prices is not a measure of profit: it does not account for carrying costs, fees, taxes, or other expenses. The Times’ sale report identifies the sale price and the earlier purchase.

2020–2022: Porter House in Montecito

Grande bought the Montecito property known as Porter House from Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi in 2020 for a reported $6.75 million, according to the Los Angeles Times. The Tudor-style residence sits on more than an acre and is formed from two antique English barns, joined by a central breezeway. The Times described the barns as brought together for the home in the 1980s; Architectural Digest later reported that they originated in Surrey, England, in the 1700s. Details of the interiors include separate chef’s kitchens, period windows, painted brick floors, exposed-beam cathedral ceilings, and a great-room fireplace. Grande and Dalton Gomez married at the house in May 2021, Architectural Digest reported.

Grande sold Porter House off-market in fall 2022 for a reported $9.1 million, according to Architectural Digest. The purchase figure is the Los Angeles Times’ contemporary 2020 reporting; the later sale figure comes from the retrospective. The Los Angeles Times’ June 2020 report covered the purchase, while Architectural Digest’s 2025 account gives the later sale details.

2021–2024: Bird Streets cottage

This smaller cottage was a separate property from the modern Hollywood Hills house Grande sold in 2021. Architectural Digest reported that she bought the 1946 Bird Streets cottage in 2021 for $8.9 million. It measured about 1,590 square feet and had a two-car garage and patio with an angular pool.

Grande sold the cottage to Bad Bunny in January 2024 for a reported $8.3 million, according to Architectural Digest and ELLE Decor. That was a lower reported sale price than the purchase price; the figures do not establish Grande’s net financial result. ELLE Decor’s 2025 retrospective also reports the cottage’s purchase and sale.

2022: Hollywood Hills house formerly owned by Cameron Diaz

Architectural Digest reported that Grande paid Cameron Diaz $4.9 million in 2022 for a midcentury-style Hollywood Hills house. The 1950-built home sits on a half-acre plot and measures about 1,800 square feet; Architectural Digest describes two bedrooms and three bathrooms. It called the house Grande’s current residence in December 2025. That is a description in a retrospective, not an official confirmation of present-day title or occupancy. ELLE Decor also described the property as her current residence, but its account differs on the bathroom count, so that detail is not settled by the cited coverage.

Architectural Digest’s December 2025 account reports the purchase and its current-residence description; ELLE Decor’s 2025 account also covers the house.

2022–2024: Temporary rental in Hampstead, London

While filming Wicked and Wicked: For Good, Grande reportedly rented an apartment in Hampstead on The Bishops Avenue, in the Buxmead development. Architectural Digest places the rental from December 2022 to January 2024, with a pause during the 2023 actors’ strike. The reporting documents a temporary rental, not a London home purchase or an ongoing residence.

In a March 2025 statement to The Standard reproduced by Architectural Digest, Grande said: “I was in Hampstead when I was here, and I loved my walks on the Heath,” adding, “I loved meandering around and visiting different shops and places and pubs.” Architectural Digest’s account includes the rental timeline and the quoted remarks.

What the reported prices do—and do not—show

The sale and purchase amounts above are reported transaction prices from the publications identified in each section. They should not be added together and treated as Grande’s current holdings, net worth, or real-estate investment performance. Most of the homes in this timeline were sold; the latest reviewed account identifies only the Cameron Diaz house as her current residence, without establishing present-day title through official records.
