Araluen Botanic Park’s Yates Springtime Tulip Festival is listed for 4 September to 18 October 2026 in Roleystone, in Perth’s Hills. The event is scheduled from 9 am to 5 pm, with last entry at 3:30 pm. Check the official festival page before setting out, as dates, operations and bloom conditions can change.
What to expect at the 2026 festival
Araluen Botanic Park describes its 2026 display as 250,000 tulips and 50,000 spring bulbs, including daffodils, hyacinths, iris, jonquils and liliums. Those are the organiser’s figures, not independently verified counts. The garden also features camellias, heritage roses, mature tree canopy, stone colonnades and rustic log cabins.

The park’s event page has also used a separate promotional description with different bulb figures. Because the descriptions do not agree, the specific display figures above are the clearest way to describe the 2026 event.
The park reported tulips emerging and thriving after cool, gentle rains when it updated the event page, and expected a longer season that year. That is a time-specific report, not a guarantee of what will be in bloom on a particular visit; check the event page for the latest update.

Tickets and prices
Tickets are available through the park’s online booking service or at the entrance. Araluen says gate purchases incur transaction and handling surcharges. Visitors need a paid entry ticket; the park accepts Companion Cards at the gate, offering two tickets for the price of one full adult ticket when the card is presented.
When checked, official ticket listings showed starting prices of AUD 30 for weekday adults and AUD 40 for weekend adults. These are changeable booking prices, not guaranteed rates; check the official ticket listings for the dates and prices available when booking. The listings say the garden is outdoors and do not offer change-of-mind refunds due to inclement weather, so review the current conditions before buying.
The park says membership includes free entry to its annual spring festival. New memberships cannot be processed during springtime; see the visitor information page for current membership details.

Getting around, accessibility and what to wear
The grounds include stone paving, sealed paths and unsealed tracks, with some areas requiring medium to high fitness. Lower terraces and sealed paths suit most fitness levels, but the park is not uniformly accessible across its natural terrain.

Araluen says ACROD parking bays are available nearby. Areas it identifies as accessible include the café, Concourse Lawn, Chalet Healy Road, Rose Garden, Centenary Lawn Beds and Roundhouse Sweep. It does not recommend the natural, unsealed terrain at Bennet’s Lawn or Stinton Creek for visitors relying on a wheelchair or walking frame. For route-specific questions, contact the park through its visitor information page before your visit.
Choose sturdy walking shoes for the mix of paved and unsealed surfaces, comfortable clothing and sun or weather protection. Conditions can change, and the park may close for public safety at management’s discretion during extreme weather. Check current notices on the event page before travelling.
