Wascomat makes commercial laundry equipment, not a typical line of household washers. Its machines are intended for laundromats and on-premises business laundry, so the right questions are the exact model, installation requirements, and availability of local service—not just whether the brand is familiar.
What kind of washing machines does Wascomat make?
Wascomat offers commercial washers, dryers, and ironers for self-service laundries and businesses that handle laundry on site. Its stated applications include hotels, hospitals, nursing homes, salons, veterinary businesses, restaurants, schools, prisons, and firehouses. The company describes its equipment as designed for repeated business use; that does not mean every model is suitable for every site or workload. Wascomat’s global Smart Professional page describes a 12 kg washer with 300 G-force extraction and a stated default cold-wash program of 35 minutes. Wascomat Australia lists WS6-14CV, WS6-20CV, WS6-28CV, and WS6-35CV washers at 14, 20, 28, and 35 kg respectively; the lineup page shows 200 G-force for each. The regional WS6 CV lineup and its technical guide are the relevant references for those models.
Other regional ranges

Is Wascomat’s durability claim independently verified?
Wascomat says its washers are built to last 30,000 cycles, and its homepage cites more than 70 years of experience. Its 2024 brochure uses the phrase “Built to last since 1955” and also repeats the 30,000-cycle claim. These are manufacturer statements; the cited material does not provide independent testing establishing that every machine achieves that service life. Actual life depends on the model, workload, installation, maintenance, and operating conditions. The homepage and 2024 brochure provide the company’s wording.
What should you check before buying or installing one?
For a commercial washer, capacity alone is not enough to determine fit. Use the specification sheet and installation manual for the exact model, then confirm that the site and service arrangements match.
