Which product fits each flooring need?
MVB: primer for moisture-vapor concerns
Ameripolish describes MVB as a two-component epoxy primer with 89% solids, intended for prepared concrete. The manufacturer says it is designed to reduce adhesion loss and blistering associated with elevated moisture-vapor transmission. It is a primer within a flooring system, not a general-purpose substitute for moisture testing or for following the selected system’s requirements.
PG-3: joint, void, and spall repair
PG-3 is described by Ameripolish as a rapid-set, high-strength, two-part polyurea system mixed at a 1:1 ratio and containing 100% solids. The stated applications include rebuilding damaged control joints, filling voids beneath tile or concrete, and repairing spalled concrete. The manufacturer also identifies warehouse spalls caused by forklifts or carts with steel or hard urethane wheels as a use case.

The chart shows stock color options, but the announcement and available product information do not establish a pack size or other packaging detail. Confirm the current chart and product documentation for the exact color and intended material before ordering or mixing.

What moisture limits apply to Polyaspartic 85?
Ameripolish’s Polyaspartic 85 technical data sheet, last updated October 16, 2025, gives product-specific moisture criteria: emissions must not exceed 3 lb per 1,000 sq ft per 24 hours when tested by the calcium-chloride method (ASTM F1869), and surface dampness must not exceed 4% by impedance testing (ASTM E1907). These are manufacturer requirements for this product, not universal limits for all concrete floors or coatings.

A moisture concern should therefore be assessed against the proposed system and its current documentation rather than addressed by assuming that any primer will be compatible.

How should contractors assess the four additions?
