Snøhetta works across architecture, landscape architecture, interior architecture, product and graphic design, art, and strategic planning. RIBA characterizes its approach as collaborative and non-hierarchical, bringing different disciplines together early in projects. That is the organizer’s description of the practice, not a quotation from Dykers.
Examples of Snøhetta’s work
Projects named by RIBA illustrate the firm’s range across cultural and public-facing work:
- Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Egypt
- Norwegian National Opera and Ballet in Oslo
- National September 11 Memorial Museum Pavilion in New York
- San Francisco Museum of Modern Art expansion
