Architectural Digest’s 2023 account describes a two-story, contemporary Mediterranean-style Pacific Palisades home Ray Liotta bought in 2003 and that sold after his death. It had five bedrooms, six bathrooms and 6,184 square feet, with stucco walls, a terracotta roof, an arched wood-paneled garage door and a turret at the entry. A separate Los Angeles Times report covered a much larger former Liotta property in the neighborhood; the available accounts do not establish that they were the same house.
The home Architectural Digest described
Architectural Digest reported that Liotta bought the residence in 2003 for $2.7 million. Its 2023 article described the home as a two-story, contemporary Mediterranean-style house with five bedrooms, six bathrooms and 6,184 square feet. The account said it later sold for $4.95 million. Those are historical figures reported in 2023, not current valuations. Architectural Digest’s account.
Exterior features
The reported exterior combines stucco and terracotta roofing with an arched, wood-paneled garage door. A turret marks the entry, giving the home a distinctive Mediterranean-inspired profile. These are the documented architectural details; the account does not support a room-by-room inventory or further claims about interior finishes.
Why two former homes are easy to confuse
A December 2019 Los Angeles Times report described another former Liotta property in Pacific Palisades: an 8,500-square-foot house on more than three acres, listed for $5.595 million at the time. That report concerns an asking price in 2019, whereas Architectural Digest reported a sale in 2023. The available coverage does not verify that the two stories concern the same property, so their size, grounds and transaction details should not be combined. The Los Angeles Times report.

What the public records can—and cannot—confirm
Los Angeles County provides official channels for assessor information and recorded real-estate documents. The county’s Recorder guidance says deeds are public records, but real-estate records are not accessible online through its site. These channels are useful for property research, but the available reporting and record guidance do not resolve which residence the title refers to.
