Which Snoop Dogg house was the most expensive?
That depends on whether “expensive” means a verified transaction or a current estimate. By completed sale, Claremont is the clearest answer: Architectural Digest reports a $660,000 purchase followed by a $1.83 million sale in 2007. By reported present-day value, Diamond Bar ranks higher at an estimated $2.2 million, according to a Zillow figure cited by Architectural Digest. An estimate is not the same as an appraisal or sale.

The Claremont mansion: the largest documented house deal
Purchase, expansion and sale
Shortly after the release of Doggystyle, Snoop bought the Claremont property for $660,000 in 1994, according to Architectural Digest. The original house measured about 3,700 square feet and contained five bedrooms and four bathrooms. During his ownership, he expanded it to approximately 6,500 square feet, with eight bedrooms and six bathrooms.
Architectural Digest and later summaries report a $1.83 million sale in 2007. That completed transaction is the strongest public evidence for the title’s “most expensive” distinction. TMZ also reported an asking price of roughly $2 million, but an asking price is not the final amount a buyer paid.

Celebrity Net Worth has said Snoop moved out in 2000, while the later sale was reported for 2007. That means the house was associated with him well before the transaction that produced its publicly documented sale price.

Purchase and current estimate
Snoop bought the gated-community property in Diamond Bar, California, for $720,000 in 1998, a figure reported by Realtor.com and Architectural Digest. It is a four-bedroom, four-bathroom home of about 3,808 square feet.

Architectural Digest describes Diamond Bar as the Southern California property he still calls home and says he has primarily resided there for almost three decades. The same article cites a Zillow estimate of approximately $2.2 million. Zillow estimates can change with market conditions and are not verified sale proceeds or independent appraisals.
Outdoor features and privacy
Public descriptions identify a pool, spa or hot tub and basketball court; Realtor.com also describes a tennis court. Interior details are limited because Snoop has kept the home private. Architectural Digest reported a 2018 contractor lawsuit alleging incomplete or noncompliant renovation work, but that legal dispute does not establish the property’s present condition or value.

Douglasville, Georgia: an owned property, not a confirmed residence
What Snoop paid
In 2021, Snoop bought a six-bedroom, four-bathroom brick house in Douglasville for $458,000, according to Realtor.com and Architectural Digest. The house sits on roughly one acre and includes a double-height foyer, a fireplace-warmed living room, a primary suite with two walk-in closets, a formal dining room and a basement theater room.
What happened when it was listed
Architectural Digest reported an initial 2024 asking price of $575,000, later reduced to $555,000. Black Enterprise reported the $575,000 listing and said it was under contract at the time of its report. Neither the asking price nor an under-contract status proves a completed sale.

Most importantly, Architectural Digest said it was unclear whether Snoop ever stayed at the Georgia house. It is therefore best described as a property he owned, not as a verified residence.

Snoop has maintained the spaceship-inspired Inglewood Compound, also called the Beach City Music Complex, since at least 2016. Architectural Digest and Black Enterprise describe a roughly 20,000-square-foot production and entertainment facility containing three recording studios, video-editing suites, a full-size basketball court, casino and game rooms, a dance studio, radio broadcast studio, green-screen soundstage and parking for his car collection.

The purchase or construction cost has not been disclosed. Reporting presents the Compound as a workplace, production center and family gathering site—not as a residence—so it should not be ranked alongside his houses.
Other Southern California properties
Realtor.com has reported at least three additional California holdings: a three-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home in Eastvale, plus a townhouse and a single-family home in Rancho Cucamonga. Public reporting does not establish whether Snoop lives in these properties, rents them, or shares them with family. Their prices and ownership roles are not sufficiently documented to assign them a reliable ranking.
How to interpret the headline figures
- Purchase price: the amount reported when Snoop acquired a property.
- Sale price: the completed transaction amount, which is different from an advertised price.
- Asking price: a seller’s list price; it does not prove what the property sold for.
- Estimated value: a model-based figure such as Zillow’s estimate, not a recorded transaction.
There is no audited public figure for the total value of Snoop Dogg’s entire real-estate portfolio, and no published inflation-adjusted ranking establishes a different winner. The most defensible comparison keeps those categories separate.
What Snoop has said about his home
Discussing Martha Stewart’s house on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2019, Snoop said: “I like to stay at her house. Her house is so big, her horse’s house is bigger than my house.” Architectural Digest reproduced the comment in its February 13, 2025 feature. The joke offers perspective on scale, but it does not identify a valuation or change the documented property history.
