What is known about Cardi B’s current residence?
The available public reporting does not establish Cardi B’s current primary residence. In a statement reproduced by Homes & Gardens in 2026, she said, “These days I don’t just live one place, I’m everywhere due to my work. One thing for sure I needed a home in my home city of NY.” That describes her circumstances and her reason for wanting a home at the time; it is not confirmation of where she lives in 2026.

Tenafly, New Jersey: the home she called her New York home
Cardi B described the 2021 purchase as a New York home. In a post quoted by Univision, she wrote in Spanish, “Mi esposo y yo siempre hemos soñado con tener una cuna en Nueva York, y hemos decidido agregarla a nuestra cartera de hogares.” She also said she was excited to have a New York home for family gatherings. The distinction is that the reports place the property in Tenafly, Bergen County, New Jersey. Univision said it was roughly 45 minutes by car from Manhattan.

Realtor.com reported the September 2021 purchase price as $5.85 million and described the home as 13,000 square feet with nine bedrooms and nine bathrooms. Architectural Digest also reported the Tenafly location and described the bedrooms, bathrooms, theater, pool and tennis court. These are published historical details, not an appraisal or confirmation that Cardi B still owns or occupies the property.
Atlanta-area estate: reports differ on the transfer timeline
Architectural Digest reported that Cardi B and Offset bought an Atlanta-area estate in 2019 for $5.8 million. Its account describes 22,000 square feet, five bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a study, marble bathrooms and fireplaces, a basement bar and wine cellar. The outlet also reported that Cardi B said she had neither friends nor family in Atlanta and quoted her saying, “So I just don’t like Atlanta.” That was her reported explanation for disliking the city, not evidence of her present residence.
The chronology is not consistent across publications. Architectural Digest describes a 2019 purchase by the couple, while Realtor.com describes the estate as a property Offset gave Cardi B and reports a different transfer timeline. Those accounts should not be combined into a definitive statement about who owns the home now or whether it has been sold.
Las Terrenas property: a reported birthday gift
Architectural Digest reported that Offset gave Cardi B a property in Las Terrenas for her 29th birthday in 2021, with a reported price of $1.49 million. The article describes six bedrooms, seven and a half bathrooms, two pools and Caribbean views. It also quoted Cardi B saying she had wanted to invest in short-term rental homes in the Dominican Republic and other Caribbean countries. The statement indicates investment interest; it does not prove current ownership or operation of the property as a rental. The article’s historical note that it was available on Airbnb does not establish present availability.
A separate home Cardi B bought for her mother
Architectural Digest reported that Cardi B bought her mother a home in 2018 and shared a tour of its three stories, including a finished basement with a gym and a large kitchen. This is her mother’s home, so the report should not be treated as evidence about Cardi B’s own residence.

Real-estate articles can identify purchases, gifts and features at the time they are reported, but those details alone do not establish a current primary residence. A 2026 Homes & Gardens design feature focuses on the Tenafly home’s entryway; it does not verify current occupancy. Likewise, a property described as a gift or purchase in earlier coverage may have changed hands since publication. The Associated Press reported in September 2025 that Cardi B had filed for divorce from Offset in 2024, but relationship status does not establish title, ownership or residence.
