There is no independent test evidence here to establish one Brondell bidet seat as objectively best. The practical choice depends on toilet fit, access to a grounded GFCI outlet for powered models, and which wash and comfort features you want. Brondell’s lineup ranges from non-electric EcoSeat models to feature-rich remote-controlled Swash seats.
Start with power access and toilet fit
Brondell sells both non-electric and electronic bidet seats. The EcoSeat S101 and S102 do not require electricity. Electronic seats need a nearby grounded GFCI outlet for full operation, according to Brondell Support. If there is no suitable outlet near the toilet, that may rule out a powered seat unless you arrange an appropriate electrical solution.
Measure your toilet before ordering. Round and elongated seats are distinct versions, and dimensions for one model should not be assumed to apply to another. For the Swash 1000 specifically, Brondell says the distance from the seat bolt holes to the tank must be at least 1.5 inches. Its fit guidance calls for the elongated version when the distance from bolt holes to the bowl front is 18–19.5 inches, and the round version at 16.5–17.75 inches. Check the Swash 1000 product page and the fit guide for the exact seat you are considering.
Compare the Brondell models by what they offer

Water temperature and pressure
Brondell’s comparison chart marks adjustable water pressure for its listed model families. In the S101/S102 pair, the chart identifies adjustable water temperature for the S102 only; electronic seat families also list adjustable temperature. Check the column for the exact model and its manual rather than assuming a feature is shared across a family.

Nozzles
The chart identifies dual nozzles for the S101/S102 and S1000/S1400 families. Brondell describes the 1000 and 1400 as having two retractable wands; it says most other Swash models use a single retractable nozzle serving multiple positions and widths. If nozzle arrangement matters to you, confirm it for the exact seat.
Controls and comfort features
Some models use a side arm and others include a remote. Brondell also lists heated seats, warm-air dryers, nightlights, deodorization and eco modes on selected seats, not across the whole range. Compare control location and the specific comfort features you will use, rather than treating a higher model number as a guarantee that a desired feature is included.

What to expect from installation
Brondell says Swash seats are designed for user installation and that standard installation parts are included. The company says, “A standard installation can take as little as 20 minutes,” in its Swash Electric Bidet FAQ, updated September 23, 2026. That is the manufacturer’s estimate, not a guarantee for every bathroom or installer. The same FAQ notes that electronic Swash seats are cETL or cUL approved for electrical safety in the United States and Canada.
If you prefer not to install a seat yourself, the Swash 300 product page points to Taskrabbit for installation help. Check service availability and terms directly; the product-page reference does not establish coverage in every location.
