Reports put actress Martha Plimpton’s Victorian home in Brooklyn’s Prospect Lefferts Gardens at a sale price of $2.65 million. The supplied headline’s $2.6 million is a rounded version of that figure; the exact recorded price and closing date have not been confirmed in the available public-record information.
What is reported about the sale
A January 10, 2026 report describes Plimpton’s property as a Victorian residence in Prospect Lefferts Gardens and says it sold for $2.65 million, citing Robb Report. A February 2026 report also gives that price. These are reported figures, not a confirmed deed amount; the coverage available does not establish the closing date.
What coverage says about the house
The January report says Plimpton bought the home in spring 2013 and later undertook a gut renovation. It describes the property as approximately 2,800 square feet, with four bedrooms, five baths, a finished basement and a garden. Those are reported listing details, not independently verified measurements or an inspection of the property.
The February coverage draws attention to the front yard. The reports connect the home not only with its renovation and outdoor space but also with Plimpton’s cooking there, mentioning Marcella Hazan’s The Classic Italian Cook Book: The Art of Italian Cooking and the Italian Art of Eating.
