PerthNow named Temple & Webster’s Lowen Sling Accent Chair as the higher-priced lookalike. Its January 22, 2025 report described the chairs as similar and gave the Lowen’s price as $949 at the time. That comparison does not establish a formal design relationship or a legal finding of copying. “Dupe” is a headline shorthand, not a verified product or legal classification. The same report said a shopper’s TikTok about the Marlo had more than 400,000 views. That is a reported platform view count, not evidence of sales, popularity across the market, comfort, or durability. PerthNow also relayed shoppers’ reactions, which are anecdotes rather than product testing.
Was the Marlo really $99, and is it still available?
PerthNow reported $99 as the Marlo’s launch price in January 2025. The available information does not confirm a current Marlo price, stock status, delivery charge, or return terms.
