The Mizuho tiny house from Ikigai Collective is 6.6 m (21.7 ft) long, with a single-floor layout that fits a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and dedicated desk into one compact home. Its desk can also serve as a dining spot, while the bedroom doubles as the place to relax: there is no separate living room.
What fits inside the Mizuho?
Ikigai Collective describes Mizuho as a minimalist home inspired by Japanese simplicity and modern design, intended for one person or a couple. The manufacturer lists overall dimensions of 6.6 x 2.4 x 3.8 m. The 21 ft framing is rounded; New Atlas gives the length as 6.6 m, or 21.7 ft.
Work and meals share a desk
The plan includes a dedicated desk. New Atlas reports that it seats two and can double as a breakfast bar or dining area. That makes the desk a flexible work surface, but it is not an enclosed office.
The bedroom is also the hangout space
The home has a compact bedroom, but no distinct living room. New Atlas and Ordinary Chaos describe the bedroom as the place occupants also use to hang out. New Atlas notes that the sleeping area has no screen or door for privacy.

Kitchen and bathroom
The manufacturer specifies a full kitchen with a two-burner stovetop and a private bathroom with a shower and toilet. New Atlas describes a propane-powered cooktop, sink and cabinetry. The product page also lists an integrated hot-water system.
What the floor plan makes easier—and what it asks you to give up
- No ladder to reach the bedroom: The single-floor arrangement avoids a loft and ladder, which can make daily movement around the home more straightforward.
- Fewer separate spaces: Work and dining share a surface, and sleeping and relaxing share the bedroom. There is no separate living room or enclosed office.
- Limited bedroom privacy: New Atlas reports there is no screen or door between the sleeping area and the rest of the home.
These are layout tradeoffs, not proof that the home is more or less comfortable than another tiny house. For a comparison, look at whether a model has a single floor or loft, a dedicated work surface, a separate place to relax, and enough privacy for the intended occupants.
