The company later announced a sixth model, the AG619, in September 2025. The machines target farm and ranch work such as moving feed, stacking materials, cleaning stalls and handling haylage. For buyers, the model figures are a starting point—not a substitute for the current specification sheet, load chart and attachment-compatibility check.
What JLG announced
JLG Industries, an Oshkosh Corporation business, announced a dedicated agriculture telehandler range on March 24, 2025; the release carried a March 25 dateline from McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania. JLG said the machines were engineered for farmers, ranchers and commercial agricultural operations across North America. The initial announcement covered five models. In September 2025, JLG announced the AG619, so the original five should not be treated as the complete later range.
JLG’s launch release described the first digit of each model name as its capacity in thousands of pounds and the final two digits as maximum lift height in feet. The table reflects the figures JLG stated at launch; verify current specifications and the load chart for the specific machine before choosing equipment or making a safety decision.

These are rated capacities and maximum heights as published by JLG, not a promise that a machine can lift its rated capacity at every boom position. Consult the applicable load chart for capacity at the required reach and height.

How the launch models differ
For a first-pass comparison, the AG313 is the compact, lower-capacity option in the initial range, while the AG519 adds capacity and height. The AG823 and AG832 share a stated 8,000-lb rating, but the AG832 reaches a greater maximum height. The AG925 has the highest stated capacity among the five, but its maximum height is below the AG832’s. Those headline figures alone do not establish which model suits a job: working reach, load position, site access and attachment all matter.
The practical comparison should start with the heaviest loads and the positions where they must be placed. Then check whether the machine can maneuver through the relevant barns, yards or fields, and whether the desired attachment and hydraulic setup are supported. Local dealer and service availability is another ownership consideration.

What farm work the machines target
JLG presents the range as multi-task equipment for material handling and routine agricultural work, including:
- Moving and stacking materials, feed and seed.
- Bedding and cleaning pens or stalls.
- Defacing silage and haylage.
- Towing and general maintenance.
JLG’s product materials also point to greater lift height and forward reach as ways a farm may use one machine across multiple tasks. Any resulting time, labor or cost savings are JLG’s stated rationale, not an independently verified outcome.

Farm-oriented features JLG describes
In its March 2025 launch materials, JLG listed travel speeds of up to 25 mph and 19-inch ground clearance, along with features intended to support maneuverability and work on agricultural sites:
- Two-wheel, four-wheel and four-wheel-crab steering modes.
- A tight turning radius and reduced-ground-disturbance technology.
- A short rear-axle-to-hitch distance, which JLG associates with towing stability.
- Ride control with boom float, precision lifting and bucket rotation.
JLG’s current agriculture product pages also describe enclosed cabs, joystick controls, ride control and load-stability indication. These are manufacturer descriptions and specifications; no independent comparative test or field-performance study is established here.

Attachments: check the coupler and hydraulics first
JLG identifies silage defacers, bale carriages, buckets, pallet forks and specialized lifting tools as relevant agricultural attachments. Compatibility varies by machine, so an attachment category does not mean every tool will fit every model.

Before ordering, match the attachment to the exact machine, coupler and hydraulic package, then check attachment capacity and the model-year documentation. JLG’s published configuration details are not a substitute for confirmation from the dealer or manufacturer for a particular unit.

The AG619 and current lineup information
JLG announced the AG619 in September 2025 and displayed it at the 2025 World Dairy Expo, describing it as a mid-size agriculture machine. That announcement followed the five-model launch and is evidence that the range developed after its initial introduction. Current JLG agriculture pages present compact and standard products and may include the AG619; use JLG’s current model specifications and load charts rather than assuming launch-era information covers every later model or configuration.
Support and ownership checks
JLG’s agriculture site describes a dedicated dealer-network effort and provides routes to technical support, aftermarket parts, manuals and new product information. Dealer coverage and stock can vary by location, so confirm local service access and parts support when evaluating a machine.
JLG’s launch release quoted then-VP and General Manager of JLG Agriculture Jamey Patla as saying the company was drawing on its access-equipment experience to develop solutions for agriculture. Patla also called the machines “aggressive, powerful and ergonomically designed.” These are company statements, not independent assessments.
