Before removing a panel, find your washer’s complete model code and sales region, then use the matching Samsung repair guide. Proceed only if that guide covers your task and you understand the instructions and have the skills to carry them out.
1. Identify your exact washer
Record the complete model code from the appliance label, along with the country or sales region where the machine was sold. Use both details to find the matching page on Samsung Support. Available manuals and repair guides can differ by model and region; a guide for a similar-looking washer may not apply.
On the model’s support page, look for its repair guide and user manual. Some pages also provide exploded views and parts lists. For example, Samsung’s support listings show a model with a 2025 repair guide and manual downloads, and another model with a repair guide plus exploded parts views [Samsung Support example] [Samsung parts-view example]. Confirm the documents match your full model code rather than relying on those examples.
2. Decide whether the repair is suitable for you
Check the exact repair guide before opening the washer. Samsung Electronics’ safety wording in the manual for the cited product family says: “DO NOT repair or replace any part of the appliance or attempt any servicing unless specifically recommended in the user-maintenance instructions or in published user-repair instructions that you understand and have the skills to carry out.” Read the safety instructions in the manual for your own model; wording and coverage may differ.

If the guide does not cover the task, or you are unsure you can follow it safely, do not improvise. Samsung Support offers troubleshooting and, where available in your region, a route to book authorized service [Samsung Support] [Samsung service support].
3. Prepare using the model’s repair guide
Read the full guide before starting and confirm it covers the component you intend to reach. Samsung’s repair-guide listing indicates that tools are specified for disassembly and assembly, but the listing itself does not establish a tool list for every washer. Use the tools named in your own guide; do not assume a particular screwdriver size, specialty tool, fastener torque, or panel order.

4. Follow only the illustrated steps for your model
Use the guide’s diagrams and instructions in sequence. Samsung washer designs vary, and the available documentation does not establish one brand-wide order for removing top, rear, or front panels. A sequence found for another model is not a substitute for your machine’s instructions.
Label connectors or fasteners only when your model’s guide calls for that or when you can do so without departing from its procedure. Stop if the parts or arrangement you find do not match the guide, or if the guide does not cover the next step. Do not force a panel or component based on guesswork.

5. Verify parts against model-matched diagrams
If your model’s support page provides an exploded view and parts list, use them to identify the part and its location. Do not choose a replacement solely because it looks similar: verify it against the washer’s full model code and the parts documentation [Samsung model parts example]. If a suitable parts reference is unavailable or the part cannot be confirmed, ask Samsung Support or an authorized service provider.
6. Reassemble and check as instructed
Use the same model-specific guide for reassembly and any verification it specifies. Do not invent electrical tests, leak checks, calibration steps, or a test cycle; these instructions are not established across models. If the guide does not explain how to complete or verify the repair, stop and contact authorized service through Samsung Support [Samsung Support].

When to choose authorized service
Use professional service if the exact task is outside the published owner-repair instructions, the instructions are unclear, you lack the stated skills, or the machine differs from the guide. Samsung Support can provide troubleshooting and information about authorized service options for your region.
