For controlled gooseneck pouring: Fellow Stagg EKG
Fellow describes Stagg EKG as having precise temperature control, a gooseneck spout, and a one-hour keep-warm feature. The narrow spout can help control the pour, which is useful for pour-over coffee, but it is not required to make pour-over. Tom’s Guide reported a maximum-capacity boil time of 5 minutes 10 seconds for its tested Stagg in its 2026 comparison; that is a reviewer measurement for that test unit and method, not a universal specification.
For selectable hold periods and everyday pouring: Fellow Corvo EKG
Corvo EKG has a conventional spout rather than the gooseneck form and a hold mode settable to 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes, according to its product page. Fellow’s kettle collection describes a one-hour keep-warm feature for Corvo as well. Read those claims together: the product page gives the selectable durations, while the collection summarizes the maximum hold. Its general-purpose spout may be more convenient if you do not need the controlled pour of a gooseneck.

It can be worthwhile if you regularly make drinks that call for water below boiling or want repeatable settings. Presets can make that simpler, while precise adjustable controls suit people who prefer to choose a target themselves. If you mainly need boiling water and do not care about holding a chosen temperature, those controls may add little value to your routine.

- Batch size: Compare capacity with the number of cups you usually make. A larger kettle can serve several people, but heating more water than you need may not suit a one-cup routine.

Tom’s Guide’s 2026 comparison reported that the Ninja Precision boiled its maximum capacity in 4 minutes 10 seconds and the Fellow Stagg in 5 minutes 10 seconds. Those are measurements of the reviewer’s tested kettles under its test method, not manufacturer-rated times or promises for all units. The cited figures do not establish a comparable result for the other models in this guide, so they should not be used to rank all four kettles by speed.
