Its dual-tank arrangement keeps clean and recovered water separate, while the flat scraper is described as removing wastewater from the roller. The product page also promotes edge cleaning, but its product table lists edge cleaning as absent. Dyson: counter-rotating rollers and debris separation
Dyson describes WashG1 as a dedicated hard-floor wet cleaner. Its counter-rotating microfiber rollers handle wet and dry debris; the system separates solids into a debris tray and dirty water into a separate tank. The US product page also lists selectable hydration levels and a MAX setting for stubborn dirt. For the Tineco Breeze Series, the manual lists approximately 35 minutes of runtime and 4–5 hours to charge. Dyson’s US product page specifies up to 35 minutes and lists 0.26 US gal for clean water and 0.21 US gal for dirty water. Those are US-page specifications; availability and specifications can vary by region. Neither maker’s tank figures show how much area a buyer will clean before refilling or emptying, so don’t use them alone to predict coverage.

Dyson recommends running the self-clean cycle after each use and manually cleaning the machine after every three uses. That means the automatic cycle does not replace all periodic hands-on care. Which machine makes more sense for your floors?
- Consider the Tineco if its one-pass vacuum-and-wash design, separate tanks and one-touch self-cleaning match your routine, and you can verify that the exact Breeze Complete listing has the features and bundle you want.
- Consider the Dyson if its described counter-rotating rollers, selectable hydration, MAX mode and debris tray are a better fit for how you want to manage wet and dry debris, and you are comfortable with its stated after-use and periodic manual-cleaning routine.
- For either machine, check the manual for your exact model and region before using it on a specific floor finish. Dyson says WashG1 is engineered for hard floors only; Tineco describes the iFloor 5 for hard or bare floors. Neither should be treated as a carpet cleaner.
