Herman Miller’s Aeron overview identifies its 8Z Pellicle suspension seat and back and Harmonic 2 Tilt mechanism as core design features. The company says the suspension is intended to support the body across eight zones, while the tilt mechanism is designed to move with the sitter. Support and adjustment options vary by configuration. PostureFit SL is an available support feature, not something to assume is included on every Aeron. Confirm the actual order specification before buying.

Warranty and sustainability claims
Herman Miller’s specifications state: “We stand behind the quality and performance of our products with a 12-year, 3-shift warranty, with limited exceptions.” The Store listing says terms and conditions apply. Treat the 12-year, three-shift statement as the manufacturer’s published warranty description, and check the terms applicable to the actual purchase rather than assuming every circumstance is covered.
