The six models in The Spruce’s tested roundup could not be verified from the available source material, so it would be misleading to name winners or attribute test results to the publication. For now, use the guidance below to assess bidet attachments as a category; consult The Spruce’s article for its specific picks and findings.
What a bidet attachment is—and what this article can confirm
A bidet attachment is an add-on for an existing toilet seat, rather than a replacement toilet or a complete bidet seat. Consumer Reports describes its experts as testing popular attachments, including products from Boss Bidet, Luxe Bidet and Tushy. That is Consumer Reports’ testing context, not evidence of which products The Spruce selected.
The six models and their comparative results in The Spruce’s roundup are not established here. In particular, the category name alone does not establish whether a given model offers warm water, how many nozzles it has, whether it fits a particular toilet, or what installation it requires. Those details need to be checked against the specific model.
How to compare bidet attachments
Consumer Reports identifies cleaning power, adjustable settings, installation and ease of everyday use as relevant shopping considerations. Use them to compare products, but rely on each model’s specifications and The Spruce’s own product sections for model-specific claims.

How to identify The Spruce’s actual six picks
Before buying from a recommendation attributed to The Spruce, check its article directly for the product names, the basis of each pick, and any model-specific strengths or drawbacks. Then match a retailer listing to the exact recommended model and configuration. The category phrase “bidet attachment” is suitable for searching, but it does not verify a particular listing or its current availability.
For broader category context, see Consumer Reports’ overview of bidets and bidet attachments. Its testing and recommendations should not be presented as The Spruce’s.
