What the Slice and Serve Bread Knife plan is
WOOD Magazine says the project appeared in WOOD Issue 152 in November 2003. Its current plan page is dated March 31, 2020. The design combines an offset handle-and-blade shape with a special serrated blade. WOOD Magazine and Woodcraft list a bandsaw, router, drum sander, supplied patterns, and contrasting woods for the project. WoodworkersWorkshop reports that cherry and maple were used, while noting that builders can choose other woods. Its listing also mentions common hand tools. These listings do not specify tool models, lumber dimensions, or quantities, so check the plan itself for project-specific requirements rather than estimating from the summaries.
