Build a snowy winter look with white, silver, evergreen, warm candlelight and natural details such as birch, pinecones and wood. These 54 ideas range from quick shelf accents to room-sized displays and porch vignettes; most avoid Christmas-specific symbols, so they can stay up all winter.
Choose the right snowy materials
Three common ways to create a frosted effect serve different purposes: flocked faux garland arrives with a snowy look, artificial snow spray adds a coating to branches or greenery, and loose faux snow dresses the base of a tabletop scene. They are not interchangeable, and no comparative performance testing is established for these approaches.

- Flocked garland: use when you want a ready-made frosted greenery effect on a mantel, doorway or window.
- Artificial snow spray: use on suitable branches or boughs when you want to create a snow-dusted finish.
- Loose faux snow: arrange around a small tabletop display for a snow-covered ground effect.
Fresh greenery and faux greenery also have different upkeep. Cut greenery can dry indoors or outdoors in winter conditions when it has no moisture source; faux greenery offers a low-maintenance look. The available examples do not quantify how long fresh greenery lasts.

Place and care for the display
Use the product label to determine whether a particular garland, spray, faux snow, pillow or other item is intended for indoor or outdoor exposure. The decorating examples do not certify that every material can withstand all weather. Artificial snow spray for branches is a useful supply phrase when shopping for that specific project, but no particular brand or model is established.
For fresh greenery, account for the fact that cut foliage can dry in winter conditions without a moisture source. If you want the arrangement to remain low-maintenance, choose faux greenery instead. For a natural style, emphasize birch, wood, pinecones and foliage; for a more polished snowy scene, use white décor, candles and flocked greenery.
