Bauer 2.8 Amp, 5-Inch Random Orbit Palm Sander: For larger flat areas, this corded sander has a 5-inch hook-and-loop pad, six speed levels, a 3/32-inch orbit and a reported maximum of 13,000 OPM. SlashGear reported 4.6 out of 5 from 4,528 reviewers in its 2025 article. That is a substantial review count in that snapshot, but not a direct comparison with competing sanders. The article reports a 4.9-star rating but does not give a review count, so the figure cannot be compared fairly with picks whose review bases are stated. Bauer 8.5 Amp, 1/2-Inch Impact Wrench: SlashGear reports 300 ft-lb of torque and 1,050 ft-lb of breakaway torque. Breakaway performance is not a controlled final-tightening measurement. If you remove or install wheel fasteners, use the vehicle manufacturer’s torque specification and finish tightening with a calibrated torque wrench; do not rely on the impact wrench’s advertised figures for final torque.
Bauer 20V Cordless 1/2-Inch Drill/Driver Kit: SlashGear describes a kit with a compact 1.5 Ah battery and charger, aimed at light-to-mid-level drilling and fastening. Choosing among Warrior, Bauer and Hercules
These brand names alone are not a reliable way to decide which tool is right. Start with the operation, material, duty cycle and power source, then compare the exact model’s features and support terms. Bauer and Warrior appear among corded and cordless picks in this list; Hercules is represented by a miter saw and a cordless impact-driver kit. The selection method is based on customer-review criteria, not a validated tier system for professional use.
- Choose by task: Match the tool and accessory to the material, cut, surface or fastener—not just the broad category printed on the box.
- Compare power format: A corded tool avoids battery-runtime limits but needs an outlet and cord management. A cordless tool trades that constraint for battery and charger requirements.
- Check what is included: Confirm battery, charger, blade, wheel, paper, hose or adapter contents on the current listing. Similar product names can refer to different SKUs or packages.
- Verify compatibility: Check the exact accessory mount, blade or wheel rating, battery platform and any required consumables.
- Review support terms: Warranty coverage varies by product and should be checked on that product’s own listing.
Battery, kit and warranty details to verify
Harbor Freight’s official page for the Hercules 20V Brushless Cordless 1/2-Inch Drill/Driver describes a tool-only product and says a Hercules 20V battery and charger are sold separately. That is a different product from the Bauer drill/driver kit and from the Hercules impact-driver kit in this list. Do not infer one tool’s package contents from another tool in the same brand or voltage family.

That statement does not establish warranty coverage for Bauer or Warrior tools, corded Hercules products, or every Hercules cordless product. Check the terms attached to the exact model.
