Its anti-tangle brush substantially reduces the usual rope of hair around a roller, and its bagless self-emptying dock is useful. It is not a hands-free housekeeping system: small-object avoidance is unreliable, docking can be inconsistent, and mopping still requires you to fit, wash, and dry the pad. Buy it when the price is clearly below newer, more automated models.
Yeedi still provides U.S. support for the C12 Pro Plus, but its current catalog emphasizes newer S-, M-, and C-series machines rather than this model. As of August 18, 2026, no current official C12 Pro Plus retail price was shown, so judge any listing by its actual checkout price, warranty, return policy, and replacement-part availability.

Yeedi advertises 8,000Pa suction and its ZeroTangle anti-tangle system on its U.S. support site. Those specifications explain the product’s appeal, but independent tests show why they should not be treated as a complete performance score.

What the C12 Pro Plus includes
The package combines a LiDAR-mapping robot, a self-emptying base, vacuuming hardware, and a separate mopping module. The dock automatically transfers collected dust from the robot into its bagless container, reducing how often you empty the onboard bin. It does not have the clean- and dirty-water reservoirs, mop washing, or mop drying found on newer premium stations.

The mopping hardware is interchangeable rather than permanently installed. This matters during setup: the C12-family manual instructs you to remove the mopping plate before creating the initial map. Consult the Yeedi manual for the exact sequence for your regional version.
Does ZeroTangle really help with hair?
Yes, but “ZeroTangle” should mean less frequent detangling, not zero maintenance. TechRadar found the brushroll handled hair well and picked up pet hair effectively. TechHive also found the tangle-free brush useful, while BGR reported no noticeable hair wrapping around the brushes or wheels after several uses. TechGearLab, however, observed intermittent brush tangles. The evidence supports a reduction in routine tangles, not immunity to them.
The design is most valuable when long human hair or loose pet fur would otherwise form a tight band around a conventional roller. Much of that material reaches the dustbin instead. Hair can still collect at the roller ends, on the side brush, around wheel axles and bearings, and in the filter. Inspect those areas even when the center of the main brush looks clear.
The system also does not make the robot safe to run through cords, shoelaces, socks, toys, or pet accidents. TechHive reported that the robot could consume socks, and TechRadar found small-object avoidance unreliable. Pick up those hazards before every unattended run.

Vacuuming performance by surface
Hard floors
This is the C12 Pro Plus’s strongest environment. TechRadar found more dust, dander, and pet hair than a visibly clean floor suggested, while TechGearLab reported floors that looked clean after testing. Routine crumbs, hair, and tracked grit are handled well for a mid-range machine.
Rugs and carpet
Do not infer deep-carpet performance from the 8,000Pa headline. TechGearLab found that the robot produced a respectable carpet result but left sand embedded in carpet fibers. It is a sensible maintenance cleaner for low-pile rugs and ordinary carpet, not a replacement for a powerful upright vacuum in thick or heavily soiled carpet.
Edges and corners
Edge coverage is a weakness. TechRadar noted that the robot did not clean right against walls as effectively as stronger competitors, so occasional manual edge work remains part of ownership.

The vibrating mop can provide good maintenance cleaning on sealed hard floors. TechRadar reported good results on ordinary dried residue, and the app lets you adjust water flow and cleaning settings. The flat, semicircular pad is less aggressive than dual spinning mop discs, so sticky kitchen buildup and heavily soiled entryways still need manual scrubbing.
After each run you must remove the pad, wash it, let it dry fully, and reinstall it. The dock does not wash or dry it. That makes the C12 Pro Plus unsuitable for anyone expecting a “set and forget” mopping routine, particularly in homes with multiple pets, muddy entrances, or daily wet-cleaning needs.

Documentation mentions carpet detection, but the available evidence does not establish automatic physical mop lifting for this model in every region or firmware version. Verify the behavior of the exact unit before allowing a wet pad onto carpet; use app restrictions or no-go zones where necessary.
Mapping, navigation, and obstacle avoidance
Mapping and app controls
LiDAR mapping is a relative strength. TechRadar found the first map useful in an open-plan home and praised the ability to divide rooms into smaller areas. The app supports schedules, room or zone cleaning, suction adjustment, water-flow adjustment, no-go zones or virtual boundaries, child lock, and do-not-disturb settings. Saved-map behavior and menu names can vary by app version and region; some controls are tucked behind map icons.

Mapping a room is not the same as recognizing everything on its floor. Independent tests found collisions with small obstacles, unreliable object avoidance, and difficulty with items such as cables and socks. Prepare the floor by removing underwear, charging leads, shoelaces, lightweight bags, small toys, and pet messes. Low furniture can trap the robot; block those gaps or draw virtual boundaries.
Returning to the dock
TechGearLab reported cases in which the robot struggled to locate the dock. Keep the base on a level surface with clear approach space, leave the robot powered on and charging between runs, and avoid moving the dock after mapping. A dirty bumper, wheel, sensor, or charging contact can also cause navigation and docking errors.

TechRadar did not find voice-assistant support in its test. Treat that as a limitation of the tested app and region rather than proof that every future software version will behave identically.

The bagless dock avoids disposable dust-bag purchases, but it does not eliminate filter, bin, brush, or station cleaning. Yeedi’s manual gives these schedules; they are recommendations, not guaranteed lifespans.

- Remove hair and grit from the side brush and wheel axles.
- Check both ends of the anti-tangle roller, not only its center.
- Clean and completely dry the filter before reinstalling it.
- Wash and dry the mop pad after every wet run.
- Wipe sensors, the bumper, and charging contacts.
- Inspect the station, dust container, and inlet for blockage or odor.
- Replace worn brushes, filters, and pads before cleaning quality drops sharply.
If the robot reports that it is having difficulty running, check for a blocked brush or wheel, a stuck bumper, dirty sensors, or a trapped position. Yeedi provides troubleshooting steps through its support center.
Setup choices that prevent common failures
- Install the app, charge the robot, and remove the mopping plate before the first mapping run.
- Open interior doors and clear cables, socks, toys, and pet waste so the map represents usable floor.
- Place the dock on a level surface with a clear route and leave it there.
- Edit the map to divide rooms and add no-go zones around low furniture, fragile items, and carpeted areas where wet cleaning is inappropriate.
- Run vacuum-only cleaning first; fit the water tank and pad only after the map is stable.
- Keep the robot switched on at the dock. Turning it off prevents normal charging.
Price, availability, and newer Yeedi options
Historical reviews referenced roughly $500–$600 pricing, but those figures are not current price guidance. Yeedi’s present catalog gives more context: the M14 Plus was listed at $499.99, reduced from $599.99, in the August 2026 results, with 18,000Pa suction, ZeroTangle 3.0, an all-in-one station, hot-water mop washing, hot-air drying, automatic dust emptying, and carpet mop lifting. The M16 Infinity was listed at $599.99, reduced from $799.99. Prices and stock can change.
If a C12 Pro Plus listing is close to those prices, its older navigation and manual mop workflow are difficult to justify. If it is substantially cheaper, the hair-management and bagless dock can still make it attractive. Before buying, verify the model number, seller, U.S. warranty, included dock and mop hardware, replacement-part stock, and return window. Yeedi’s qualifying official-store price-match policy covers identical models in the same territory within 30 days, excludes accessories, and may change; see the current policy.
Yeedi’s support pages show C12-family consumables, including washable pads, filters, brush covers, side brushes, and cleaning solution. Displayed examples included pads at about $29.99 list/$23.99 sale, filters at about $14.99 list/$11.99 sale, and a brush cover at about $15.99 list/$12.79 sale when observed. These are changeable accessory prices, not a guarantee of current stock or compatibility; confirm the exact C12 Pro Plus variant.

Who should buy the C12 Pro Plus?
It is a good fit if you:
- Have long hair or shedding pets and are tired of cutting hair from rollers.
- Live mostly on hardwood, tile, vinyl, or low-pile carpet.
- Want strong routine vacuuming and acceptable maintenance mopping.
- Prefer a bagless self-emptying dock.
- Will clear the floor before scheduled runs.
- Can buy it at a meaningful discount with clear warranty protection.
Choose something else if you:
- Need reliable recognition of every small object in a cluttered home.
- Have thick carpet and prioritize embedded-debris removal.
- Want automatic mop washing, drying, and water management.
- Require dependable voice-assistant control.
- Expect excellent wall-edge cleaning or fully unattended operation.
- Would pay nearly as much for the C12 Pro Plus as for a newer, more automated model.
