Yes, the product is real. The likely model is Xiaomi’s Mijia Smart Servo-oscillation Electric Toothbrush Pro, also sold in some markets as the Xiaomi Oscillation Electric Toothbrush Pro. Its model number is MES610.
The important qualification is the battery claim: Xiaomi’s “up to 180 days” figure applies to Gentle mode with two two-minute brushing sessions per day. Xiaomi lists approximately 100 days for Standard mode, so the headline is a best-case specification rather than a guarantee of normal mixed-mode use.

What the screen actually does
The built-in display is a small color/LCD feedback screen, not a smartphone-style touchscreen. Xiaomi says it can show:
- Brushing duration and current status
- Cleaning coverage or missed areas
- Plaque-related feedback or plaque-risk status, depending on the regional software description
- Battery and brushing-mode information
The handle uses brushing time, orientation and sensor data to estimate whether different areas have been covered. Pressure protection is communicated through the handle’s indicator and vibration behavior rather than necessarily through a full-screen warning.
That makes the display a coaching aid, not a clinical diagnostic tool. Xiaomi says its brushing reports, plaque-risk status and recommendations are automatically generated from brushing-habit data for daily-care reference. The screen cannot prove that every tooth surface was cleaned, and its coverage estimate may be affected by how the handle is held.

The Pro combines vibration with a sweeping oscillation system. Xiaomi describes a servo-oscillation motor capable of up to 60 degrees of sweeping movement in personalized mode. A six-axis gyroscope helps identify orientation and tooth-surface areas.
Xiaomi also claims up to three times wider cleaning coverage than earlier Mijia electric toothbrush models and cites cleaning-efficiency test results. Those are manufacturer claims based on Xiaomi-cited testing, not independent head-to-head clinical evidence.
Use the brush as you would a powered toothbrush: hold the bristles at roughly 45 degrees to the gum line and move slowly across two or three teeth at a time. Xiaomi’s default two-minute cycle provides a reminder to change zones every 30 seconds.
Battery life: what “180 days” means
| Specification | Xiaomi’s stated figure |
|---|---|
| Gentle mode | Up to 180 days |
| Standard mode | Approximately 100 days |
| Test routine | Two two-minute sessions per day |
| Full recharge | Approximately six hours |
| Charging connector | USB-C |
The 180-day result assumes a full charge, two two-minute sessions daily and Gentle mode. Actual runtime can be shorter if you use Standard, Deep or personalized modes, brush for longer, share the handle, or use it more frequently. Battery aging, temperature and charging conditions also affect endurance.

Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →In practical terms, the claim is impressive for a travel toothbrush, but the fairest wording is “up to 180 days under Xiaomi’s Gentle-mode test conditions.” It should not be read as 180 days of ordinary mixed-mode use for every owner.
USB-C charging and travel use
The handle charges through USB-C and cannot be used while connected to the charging cable. Xiaomi says it can be charged from a standard adapter or power bank, which is useful when travelling. The product page also promotes a short-charge feature that can provide enough power for a brushing session.

Keep the charging port dry. After rinsing the brush, let the port and surrounding area dry fully before connecting a cable. If the brush does not respond after charging, disconnect the cable before trying to turn it on; it is not designed to operate while plugged in.
Modes and pressure control
Xiaomi’s regional Pro FAQ lists three main modes:
Free tools Windows power users keep installed
One-click scans. No signup required.
- Gentle: intended for new electric-toothbrush users or sensitive gums.
- Standard: intended for normal daily cleaning.
- Deep oscillation: intended for more intensive cleaning in harder-to-reach areas.
The global product page also describes personalized or smart surface-recognition behavior. Mode names and the exact number of available settings can vary by region, so check the local manual and packaging.
The pressure system is designed to reduce excessive brushing force. That is useful for people who press too hard, but it is not a medical guarantee of gum protection.
Brush heads and replacement costs
The usual package includes a handle, a soft brush head, a cleaning or deeper-cleaning head, a USB-C cable and documentation. Package contents can vary by country, particularly the included adapter and number of heads.
Xiaomi describes the heads as having copper-free bristle insertion, cushioned or rubber-coated construction, and different bristle layouts. The cleaning head uses dual spiral columns and crescent-shaped bristles, while the soft head uses a rounded, graduated arrangement. Color-fading filaments indicate when replacement is due.
Xiaomi recommends replacing a head about every three months. That recurring cost matters more than the long battery life, so buyers should check the official replacement-head catalog and confirm that Soft or Clean heads are available for MES610 in their market. Generic “compatible” heads should not be assumed to fit correctly.
Is it waterproof?
Xiaomi rates the toothbrush IPX8. Its FAQ describes testing for submersion up to two metres for 60 minutes and says the handle can be rinsed.
Water resistance does not mean it should be charged while wet. Rinse the handle, dry the charging-port area thoroughly and avoid using it in a hot shower. Xiaomi warns that heat and humidity can affect the motor and battery even when the device is water-resistant.

The app and Bluetooth information is inconsistent
This is the biggest regional-version warning. Xiaomi’s global Mijia page mentions Xiaomi Home app personalization and brushing reports. However, Xiaomi’s regional FAQ for the Xiaomi Oscillation Electric Toothbrush Pro says that the MES610-branded version does not support Bluetooth or Xiaomi Home.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
Do not buy this toothbrush assuming that app connectivity is included. Verify the exact product name, MES610 model number, region, firmware information and local manual before purchase. A listing that uses “smart” in the name does not necessarily describe an app-connected version.
Availability, price and warranty
Xiaomi lists the product on its global site and has regional pages including the UK. That does not establish official retail availability in every country. The U.S. Xiaomi site did not visibly list this model in the reviewed results, so U.S. buyers should not assume local stock, warranty support or replacement-head availability.
A September 2025 launch report listed a Chinese price of 269 yuan. That is launch-market pricing, not a current universal price or confirmed U.S. MSRP. Imported units may also have different instructions, bundled accessories, app behavior, warranty coverage and replacement-head supply.
Before buying, confirm:
- The exact model number and regional name
- Whether the seller provides local warranty service
- Whether genuine MES610-compatible heads are available
- Whether the advertised app and Bluetooth features apply to that version
- What adapter and accessories are included
Comfort, weight and noise
Xiaomi lists noise below 62 dB(A), a net weight of approximately 138 grams plus or minus 5 grams including the brush head, and dimensions of approximately 27.8 × 29.5 × 251 millimetres. These are Xiaomi’s stated specifications, not independent measurements.

Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteFor sensitive gums, Gentle mode is the sensible starting point. Xiaomi says mild itching or bleeding can occur during the first one or two weeks of adjustment, but persistent bleeding, pain, swelling or sensitivity should not simply be managed by changing modes. Stop and seek dental advice, particularly if symptoms continue beyond two weeks.
Who should consider it?
It may suit:
- Frequent travellers who do not want to carry a proprietary charging base
- Users who want brushing-time and missed-area guidance without looking at a phone
- Xiaomi ecosystem buyers who have confirmed local app compatibility
- People who prefer USB-C charging and a rinseable handle
It may not suit:
- U.S. buyers who require straightforward local warranty support
- Anyone seeking a mature, clearly documented Bluetooth ecosystem
- People with ongoing dental or gum problems who need professional guidance
- Buyers who prioritise independently verified cleaning performance
- Families who need multiple inexpensive handles or widely stocked replacement heads
Verdict
The Xiaomi Oscillation Electric Toothbrush Pro is genuinely unusual: it combines a built-in color display, surface-aware brushing feedback, servo-oscillation, USB-C charging and unusually long claimed battery life.
But the headline needs two qualifications. First, 180 days is a Gentle-mode figure based on two two-minute sessions per day; Standard mode is listed at about 100 days. Second, Xiaomi’s naming, app support and availability vary by region. Confirm the MES610 version, connectivity, warranty and replacement-head supply before ordering.
The screen may help users build better brushing habits, but it does not guarantee superior oral hygiene. A simpler brush used consistently and correctly may be the better value if you do not need the display or travel-focused battery endurance.
