The Wilhite is a 39-foot-long custom Pioneer tiny house built by Indigo River Tiny Homes on a triple-axle gooseneck trailer. Its listed exterior width is 8.5 feet, and its unusual plan puts the main bedroom on the ground floor, the living room above the gooseneck and two lofts elsewhere. The builder marks this specific home sold; neither the builder nor New Atlas publishes its sale price.
What are the Wilhite’s dimensions?
Indigo River Tiny Homes lists the Wilhite at 39 feet long, 8.5 feet wide and 13.5 feet high, with an approximate weight of 19,000 pounds. New Atlas also reports its length and width. These are exterior dimensions; the cited listing does not provide interior room measurements.
How does the floor plan use the space?
The Wilhite is a custom version of the builder’s Pioneer Gooseneck design. Its defining choice is to keep the main bedroom downstairs and place the living room on the raised gooseneck, rather than putting the primary bedroom there.
Ground-floor bedroom and bathroom
The bedroom and bathroom sit near the center of the home, with the kitchen between them, according to New Atlas. The main bedroom’s ground-floor location avoids making the primary sleeping space a loft.
Raised living room and two lofts
Stairs with integrated storage lead to the elevated living area over the gooseneck. One storage loft sits beside the living room; a second loft can be used for sleeping or storage. The builder lists a fold-up desk, electric fireplace, TVs and custom storage among the Wilhite’s upgrades.
What equipment and construction details are listed?
Indigo River describes the following as standard Pioneer features. These are builder-provided specifications, not an independent inspection or performance assessment.
- Mini-split air conditioner and heat pump.
- Spray-foam insulation rated R-19 in the floor and R-13 in the walls and ceiling.
- Low-e argon windows.
- RV water, sewage and 50-amp hookups.
- Built-in stabilizing jacks and D-rings.
- ANSI A119.5 and RVIA certification.
The builder lists the custom triple-axle gooseneck trailer as an upgrade, with a 21,000-pound rating. That trailer rating is distinct from the home’s listed approximate weight of 19,000 pounds; the listing does not establish the weight of a particular loaded towing setup.
Does “road-legal width” mean it can go anywhere without a permit?
New Atlas describes the 8.5-foot width as standard and says the home could be transported without a towing permit. That statement should not be treated as a guarantee for every state, road, towing vehicle or transport circumstance. The builder lists a height of 13.5 feet, and the sources do not establish route-specific permit requirements or clearance conditions. Confirm applicable rules and the transport setup for the actual route before moving a home of this size.

Is the Wilhite for sale, and what did it cost?
Indigo River Tiny Homes marks this particular Wilhite “SOLD.” Neither the builder’s listing nor the New Atlas article gives its sale price. The builder invites inquiries about pricing for a Pioneer with upgrades, so a current comparable-build cost would require a quote; the listing does not establish current availability or delivery timing for another build.
