Eco Warm is a temperature setting—not a separate wash cycle—on some Samsung washers. Samsung recommends it for moderately soiled, colorfast items and most wrinkle-free items, and says it uses less energy than the regular Warm setting. The exact controls and temperatures vary by model, so check your washer’s panel and model-specific manual for its behavior.
What does Eco Warm mean on a Samsung washer?
Eco Warm is one of the temperature choices available on certain Samsung washers. It is intended for moderately soiled, colorfast laundry and most wrinkle-free items. Check each garment’s care label before washing; the washer setting does not override fabric-care instructions. Samsung’s general washer guidance describes Eco Warm as: “For moderately soiled, colorfast items, and most wrinkle-free items.”

How is Eco Warm different from Warm?
Samsung says Eco Warm is similar to regular Warm but uses less energy. Its general guide describes Warm as having only the final rinse warm, with the other rinses cold to conserve energy. That is a general description, not a guarantee of identical wash and rinse behavior on every model. Samsung does not give a numeric energy-savings figure, so there is no supported percentage to compare.
| Setting | Samsung’s general description | What to keep in mind |
|---|---|---|
| Warm | Only the final rinse is warm; other rinses are cold to conserve energy. | Samsung identifies colorfast items as a suitable load. Actual behavior can vary by model. |
| Eco Warm | Similar to Warm, but uses less energy. | Recommended for moderately soiled, colorfast items and most wrinkle-free items. Samsung publishes no universal savings percentage. |
Samsung Canada gives the same load guidance and qualitative energy comparison, while advising users to check their washer’s controls or manual for available settings: Samsung Canada washer guide.

Is Eco Warm actually warm, and what temperature is it?
The setting name does not establish a single water temperature. Samsung’s general support guidance does not specify Eco Warm in degrees, and the available settings and labels depend on the washer model. Use the exact model’s manual if you need a temperature value; do not assume one degree setting applies across Samsung washers.
Eco Warm appears in the specifications for particular models, including the WF56H9100AV and the 2021 WA44A3405AV top-load washer. These examples show that the option exists on those models; they do not mean every Samsung washer offers it or uses the same temperature. Consult your model’s controls and manual before following button-by-button directions.

A cool-feeling cycle alone does not prove the washer is faulty. Samsung notes that cycle temperatures are predetermined and may feel cooler than expected. If you have a water-temperature concern, its washer water-temperature troubleshooting guidance advises checking that the hot and cold supply hoses are connected to the correct taps. Follow the troubleshooting instructions for your exact model.
