They’re usually called glass table bumpers or glass tabletop pads. These small pieces sit between the table base and a loose glass top to cushion it and help keep it from shifting. For a general search, try “clear glass table bumpers.”
Which term should you use?

- Glass table bumper or pad: A small cushioning piece resting on a flat support point. “Rubber pad” and “silicone pad” are also common descriptive phrases.
- Spacer: A part used to create a particular gap or height between the base and glass.
- Grommet: A part that fits into or around a hole, peg, or socket.
- Standoff: A more visible, structured post or fitting that supports the glass.
“Bumpons” also appears as an informal suggestion in an old forum discussion, but it is not the generic term to rely on. The thread describes the piece as sitting between a wooden table and glass to keep the top from moving: ThriftyFun discussion.
What should you search for?
Start with “clear glass table bumpers.” If the piece has a specific form or attachment, refine the search with “rubber,” “silicone,” “spacer,” or “grommet.” Use “standoff” if it is a visible support post rather than a small pad.

The name alone does not identify a universal size or load rating. Compare the replacement with the original part’s shape and the way it attaches to the base; the cited sources do not establish a standard dimension or capacity for these supports.
