West Elm’s clearest confirmed 2025 Halloween update is its pillow collaboration with illustrator Nicole Cicak: a returning City Trick-or-Treat design and four new Halloween and fall pillows. The retailer’s current catalog also features insect-inspired Halloween Antics pieces and Frankenstein-themed ceramics, but those live listings do not establish that every item was available in 2025. “Spookier than ever” is a playful description, not a verified year-over-year comparison.
What was new for West Elm Halloween 2025?
Illustrator Nicole Cicak announced on June 27, 2025, that her Halloween/Fall pillow collaboration with West Elm had launched. She named four new designs: Halloween Harvest, Halloween Dog Park, Fall in Brooklyn and Thanksgiving Parade. The City Trick-or-Treat pillow also returned. Cicak’s June 27 announcement is the dated source for these 2025 collection details.
Cicak said the earlier City Trick-or-Treat pillow “sold out instantly” and did not return to stock before Halloween. That is her account of that specific design’s previous-season experience; it does not establish that the 2025 pillows or West Elm’s broader Halloween assortment sold out.
What kinds of Halloween decor does West Elm feature?
West Elm’s current Halloween catalog provides a broader picture of the kinds of items it groups under seasonal decor: textiles, candles, candleholders, decorative accessories and tabletop goods. The catalog describes pieces for areas such as shelves, mantels and entryways, alongside dinnerware, serveware and drinkware. These are current catalog categories, not a complete or dated record of the 2025 assortment. West Elm’s Halloween catalog and Halloween collection page show the live assortment, which can change.

Which themes stand out?
Illustrated Halloween and fall scenes
Cicak’s named pillows span Halloween imagery and autumn scenes, from Halloween Harvest and Halloween Dog Park to Fall in Brooklyn and Thanksgiving Parade. That mix makes the collaboration relevant beyond Halloween night, but the announcement does not describe materials, dimensions, prices or current stock.
Insect-inspired Halloween Antics
West Elm describes its Halloween Antics collection as insect-inspired. Its current collection page names pieces including a ceramic dip bowl set, serving bowl, napkin sets, salad plate sets, filled candle, taper candles, pillar candleholder, porcelain hurricanes, taper candleholders and a trinket box. This is current collection context rather than confirmation that each piece was part of the 2025 lineup. See West Elm’s Halloween Antics collection.

Frankenstein-themed ceramics
West Elm’s current Frankenstein collection page lists novelty ceramic pieces including cups, a large bowl, an ear trinket tray, an eye bowl fill, an eye dip bowl and a nose vase. The collection details are from West Elm Canada, so its listing should not be used to infer U.S. prices or U.S. availability. West Elm Canada’s Frankenstein collection page shows the Canadian assortment.
How to interpret the “spookier than ever” claim
The confirmed 2025 news is specific: a pillow collaboration launched with four new designs and a returning City Trick-or-Treat pillow. The insect-inspired and Frankenstein-themed pieces show the kinds of spooky styles West Elm features in its current catalog, but the available dated information does not compare the full 2025 collection with earlier years. There is therefore no verified basis to conclude that the overall assortment became spookier year over year.
