These were deals from April 1, 2024—not current offers. The roundup promoted a $74.99 four-pack of first-generation AirTags (about $18.75 per tag before tax), AirPods Pro 2 with a USB-C case for $199, eclipse glasses ahead of the April 8, 2024 eclipse, and Keurig coffee makers starting at $69.99. Prices, stock and terms may have changed, and the eclipse has passed.
What the original deals were
BGR published the roundup on April 1, 2024, framing it as “Monday’s top deals.” It covered Apple accessories, eclipse glasses, coffee makers, robot vacuums, kitchen appliances, televisions and monitors, gaming hardware, and smart-home products. The archived article is a snapshot of promotions at that time, not a live shopping list. Deal pages can become stale quickly: inventory, sellers, colors, shipping, coupons and membership requirements can change, sometimes within hours.

The $19 AirTags
The advertised price came from a four-pack listed at $74.99: approximately $18.75 per tag before tax, not a standalone AirTag priced at exactly $19. The roundup named Amazon, Walmart and Best Buy, but that does not establish that each retailer had identical stock, seller terms or fulfillment. The offer concerned the earlier AirTag generation, not today’s AirTag 2.

Apple introduced AirTag 2 in 2026. Apple’s announcement lists it at $29 for one or $99 for a four-pack at regular price. Those figures are for the newer model and are not directly interchangeable with the 2024 promotion. Apple’s AirTag 2 announcement and technical information identify the new generation.

The $199 AirPods Pro 2
The roundup described AirPods Pro 2 with a USB-C MagSafe Charging Case for $199, $50 below the $249 price cited in that article. Treat $199 as a historical sale price, not a current offer. Apple’s U.S. store page lists AirPods Pro 2 at $249; check the live listing and exact seller before buying. Apple’s purchase page identifies the current official listing.
Eclipse glasses
The glasses were promoted ahead of the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. That event is over, so its deadline and urgency no longer apply. A low price alone does not establish that solar viewers are safe. For future viewing, the National Park Service advises using viewers that comply with ISO 12312-2:2015, inspecting them for damage, and following their instructions. Ordinary sunglasses are not a safe substitute; do not use scratched, torn, punctured or counterfeit viewers. Read the National Park Service safety guidance.

Keurig coffee makers
The roundup said Keurig machines started at $69.99, but the available article excerpt does not establish every model, seller, configuration or warranty behind that starting price. It is a historical claim, not a current Keurig price. Before choosing a low-cost brewer, compare the model and reservoir size, cup-size settings, condition, warranty, reusable-filter compatibility and the cost of pods over time. A coupon, bundle, marketplace seller or refurbished listing can change what the headline price actually buys.

The historical roundup does not establish that every item was new, sold directly by a manufacturer, available from each named retailer, or subject to the same return and warranty terms. In particular, its Apple Watch Ultra price was for a renewed product, not a new one.
What to check before buying a comparable deal now
Do not judge an offer by its headline discount alone. Confirm the exact product and terms on the retailer’s live listing:

- Smart Location Trackers: Never lose track of your luggage, keys, bags or personal items again. These trackers work perfectly with the Find My app (iOS Only), giving you the ability to quickly find your Cyberdot items wherever they may be.
- Find Nearby: When your tracker is within Bluetooth range, you can use the Find My app to play a sound, or simply ask Siri to locate it for you. Tap the “Play Sound” button, and the tracker will emit a clear beep to help you quickly find your items by following the sound.
- Find Far Away: Once your tracker is beyond Bluetooth range, you can still check its last recorded position in the Find My app. Supported by Apple’s worldwide network and GPS, you can locate your items across the globe and effectively avoid losing them.
- Waterproof Design & Replaceable Battery: This sturdy tracking tag is water-resistant and ideal for outdoor use. It comes with a user-replaceable CR2032 battery that delivers up to one year of dependable performance.
- Model and generation: Match the model number, generation and included accessories. A previous-generation tracker or different charging case is not the same product.
- Seller and condition: Check whether the seller is the retailer or a marketplace merchant, and whether the item is new, renewed or refurbished. For electronics, unclear seller identity also makes authenticity and warranty harder to assess.
- Total checkout cost: Include shipping and tax, and check whether the price depends on a coupon, membership, trade-in or bundle.
- Returns and warranty: Read the actual return window and warranty terms for that seller and condition. Do not assume a marketplace listing has the manufacturer’s standard coverage.
- Value over time: For a pod brewer, account for recurring pod costs and filter compatibility. For a tracker, consider the phone ecosystem it requires and its replaceable battery.
Which products may make sense today?
AirTag 2 for an Apple household
AirTag 2 is intended for people using Apple’s Find My ecosystem. It uses Bluetooth, an upgraded Ultra Wideband chip, NFC-based Lost Mode, a built-in speaker and a replaceable CR2032 battery. Apple says it requires an Apple Account and an iPhone running iOS 26 or later; Precision Finding support varies by iPhone and Apple Watch model. It is not a standalone cellular GPS tracker and does not provide continuous live location. Android-only buyers should look at a tracker built for their platform; Tile is one alternative, but compare its current compatibility and terms directly at Tile. Apple’s current buying page is AirTag.
AirPods Pro 2 when the features and seller fit
AirPods Pro 2 may suit Apple users who want active noise cancellation, Adaptive Audio, Transparency mode and Personalized Spatial Audio. The USB-C version has an H2 chip and a USB-C charging case. Apple estimates up to six hours of listening on one charge and up to 30 hours with the case under its test conditions; these are laboratory estimates, not guarantees. Apple also specifies IP54 dust, sweat and water resistance for the USB-C model under controlled laboratory testing. Hearing Test, Hearing Aid and Hearing Protection features depend on hardware, software, regulatory and regional requirements; hearing features are not a substitute for professional medical care. Apple’s technical specifications detail those conditions. Consider a $199 listing only if its current price is verified and the unit is new, authentic and covered by a reliable warranty. AirPods 4 with ANC offer an open-fit alternative; Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds are another premium ANC option. Compare current details with Apple and Bose.

Keurig only after comparing ongoing costs
A basic single-serve machine can be convenient for households that want quick cups or different beverage choices. It may be a poor fit for people who brew frequently and prioritize low cost per cup, avoid pods, or want espresso-style drinks. Check the current model, filter options, warranty and cost of the pods you expect to use. Keurig’s official site is keurig.com; no model-specific current price is established here. Nespresso, Ninja and traditional drip brewers serve different needs, so compare their current machines and consumable costs rather than treating them as direct equivalents: Nespresso and Ninja.
Eclipse viewers only for a future event
Do not buy leftover 2024 stock simply because it is discounted. For a future eclipse, first identify the event and date, then verify the viewer’s ISO 12312-2:2015 labeling, seller reputation and packaging condition. Avoid unverified marketplace listings and any damaged viewer. The National Park Service’s safety guidance explains proper viewing.
How to read an old deals page
Historical deal roundups can help identify what a product was and what price was advertised, but they are not price histories or proof of the lowest price ever. The $19 AirTag shorthand obscures the four-pack math and model generation; the AirPods figure belongs to a dated USB-C-case promotion; the Keurig starting price lacks enough model detail to compare. Check today’s exact listing, seller and conditions before treating any old number as a bargain. Prices and stock can change without notice.
