The triple-waterfall tower is Therme Dubai, a planned wellness resort designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro. Its concept layers botanical islands, pools and decks above a lake in a revitalized Zabeel Park. The waterfalls and other features are design plans—not evidence that construction is complete or that the resort has an opening date.
What is the triple-waterfall tower?
Therme Dubai is a proposed wellness and recreation resort. Diller Scofidio + Renfro identifies the City of Dubai and Therme Group as its clients and describes a tower-like arrangement of planted islands rising above a lake. The design combines landscape, bathing and leisure spaces rather than presenting the tower as a conventional high-rise building. Diller Scofidio + Renfro’s project description frames it as a sequence of contrasting environments: warm and cool, wet and dry.
New Atlas reported in February 2025 that the planned attraction would reach 100 meters (328 feet) and include three waterfalls, each 18 meters (60 feet) high. Those figures describe the published design, not completed construction.
Where is Therme Dubai planned?
The architect places the resort above a lake in a revitalized Zabeel Park. New Atlas describes the site as near One Za’abeel. The sources establish the project’s intended setting, but do not provide a verified construction-site update.

What is planned inside the resort?
The concept combines bathing, relaxation and family recreation across indoor and outdoor spaces. Published design details include:
- Thermal pools and cool mineral pools, alongside saunas and steam rooms.
- Decks, planted areas and an indoor botanical garden. New Atlas reported a planned collection of more than 200 plant species.
- Waterslides, play areas and entertainment.
- Views of the Dubai skyline, with music, art and events planned for nighttime settings.
These are announced or depicted amenities; they should not be read as facilities currently open to visitors.

What has been announced about water and energy?
A Government of Dubai announcement reproduced by New Atlas set targets for the resort to recycle 90% of the water used in its thermal pools and meet 80% of its fresh-air and cooling needs through clean energy sources. These are stated targets, not independently verified operating results. The announcement said: “The resort will recycle 90% of the water used in its thermal pools, while 80% of the fresh air and cooling needs will be met through clean energy sources.”

The sources cited here do not establish the project’s actual construction status or a confirmed opening date. New Atlas reported on February 17, 2025, that construction was expected to start the following year and completion was due in 2028. Those were forecasts published at that time, not confirmation that work began or that the schedule remains current. The architect’s project page describes the design but gives no progress update or opening date.

No Therme Dubai result is established by the sources cited here, so its current status remains unresolved.
