Not on the evidence available here. Windows Central reported the promotion on October 9, 2024, when the soundbar was advertised at $36.99 instead of a cited $199.99 MSRP. The arithmetic is a $163 reduction, or approximately 82% off.
More recently indexed Walmart pages show prices of approximately $39.89, $43.59, and $43.99. Some pages also display a “was” price of $229.99. Those figures are Walmart reference prices and should not automatically be treated as the product’s normal street price. So the accurate buying advice is simple: treat $36.99 as a historical deal price, not a guaranteed current offer. At roughly $40–$44, it remains a very inexpensive soundbar, but it is not the same Anti-Prime Day promotion.
What is the VEAT00L S20L?
The product appears under slightly different branding: VEAT00L S20L Sound Bar on Walmart and VEATOOL 2.1ch Sound Bar in promotional coverage. Confirm that the listing says S20L before ordering.
It is a compact, approximately 23.1-inch, single-bar sound system with a 2.1-channel configuration. Its bass hardware is built into the bar; there is no separate wireless subwoofer. The retailer advertises 50W of peak audio power handling, which is not the same as a standardized RMS output measurement.

What 2.1-channel means—and what it does not
A 2.1 system generally combines left and right audio with bass reproduction. It does not mean the S20L has rear speakers, a dedicated center channel, or discrete cinema-style surround sound.
Terms such as “3D surround” are marketing language here. There is no evidence in the supplied specifications that this model supports Dolby Atmos or DTS:X. It also lacks the dedicated center channel, voice control, and smart-home integration that buyers may expect from more expensive soundbars.
What you get in the box
The available listings indicate that the package includes the soundbar, remote control, and optical cable. At least one Walmart customer reported needing to buy an HDMI cable, so do not assume one is included unless the exact live listing confirms it. Wall-mounting is described, but included mounting hardware is not clearly verified.
How to connect it
HDMI ARC
- Connect the soundbar’s HDMI ARC port to the TV’s HDMI ARC or eARC port.
- Select HDMI ARC as the soundbar input.
- Set the TV’s audio output to external speakers or HDMI ARC.
- Enable HDMI-CEC if TV-volume synchronization does not work.
- If there is no sound, change the TV’s digital audio format to PCM or stereo.
Use a port specifically labeled ARC or eARC. A regular HDMI input may not carry the TV’s audio-return signal.

Optical
- Connect the TV’s optical output to the soundbar.
- Select optical on the soundbar.
- Set the TV to external optical audio.
- If the connection is silent, change Dolby, bitstream, or passthrough output to PCM.
AUX or RCA
Use AUX or RCA for older TVs and source devices without ARC or optical output. Check whether your television has a headphone/AUX port or red-and-white analog outputs.
Bluetooth
Put the soundbar into Bluetooth mode and pair it with a phone, tablet, or computer. Bluetooth is convenient for music, but wired HDMI or optical connections are generally preferable for TV and gaming because Bluetooth can introduce audio delay.

Troubleshooting common problems
No sound over HDMI ARC
- Verify that both devices use ports labeled ARC or eARC.
- Select HDMI ARC on the soundbar.
- Set the TV to external speakers.
- Enable HDMI-CEC.
- Power-cycle both devices.
- Change the TV output to PCM or stereo.
- Try optical if ARC still fails.
No sound over optical
- Remove any protective caps from the cable ends.
- Ensure the cable is fully seated.
- Select optical on the soundbar and in the TV’s audio menu.
- Switch the TV’s digital output from Dolby or bitstream to PCM.
The TV remote does not control volume
Use HDMI ARC with CEC enabled and rerun the TV’s device-control setup if available. Otherwise, use the included soundbar remote.
Bluetooth will not pair
Disconnect other active Bluetooth devices, re-enter Bluetooth mode, remove the soundbar from the phone’s saved devices, and pair again with the source device nearby.
Who should buy it?
The S20L makes sense for someone whose main goal is the cheapest practical upgrade from built-in TV speakers. It is particularly suitable for small rooms, older TVs with optical or RCA output, casual Bluetooth listening, and buyers who do not need a separate subwoofer.

The VEAT00L S20L was a genuine bargain at the historically reported $36.99 price, but that October 2024 promotion should not be presented as a current deal. Its mixed reviews, lack of true surround features, built-in rather than separate bass hardware, and marketplace status make it a poor choice for anyone expecting refined home-theater performance.
Buy it only after checking the live Walmart price, seller, fulfillment method, return terms, included cables, and exact S20L model.
