Verdict: The Roborock Qrevo Slim is a genuine low-clearance specialist. Its 8.2 cm (3.23-inch) body can reach beneath many sofas, beds, cabinets, and TV stands, but an exact 8.2 cm gap is not a safe fit. Measure the lowest obstruction, allow roughly 8.7โ9 cm of clear space, and check your thresholds before buying.
Why the Qrevo Slim fits beneath low furniture
Unlike robot vacuums with a raised mechanical LiDAR turret, the Qrevo Slim uses Roborockโs solid-state 3D Time-of-Flight sensing. That lets the robot keep its body to 8.2 cm high while still using 3D navigation and an RGB camera for obstacle recognition. Its footprint is approximately 13.78 ร 13.9 inches, and it weighs about 9.04 lb. The battery is rated at 5,200 mAh.

Measure your sofa before buying
Measure from the floor to the lowest point of the furniture, not the average height of the opening. Then check the entry width and whether the robot can reverse or turn without becoming wedged.

An exact measurement is not enough because carpet pile, uneven flooring, furniture flex, molding, and measurement error reduce usable space. Thick rugs and transition strips can also prevent entry even when the furniture opening looks tall enough.
Use this clearance checklist
- Measure the lowest underside point at several locations.
- Confirm the opening is wider than the robotโs roughly 13.9-inch body.
- Look for crossbars, narrow legs, bed skirts, blankets, and hanging upholstery.
- Check that the robot has room to retreat if it cannot turn underneath.
- Measure door thresholds and floor transitions between rooms.
Clearance is also not the same as reach. Sofa legs may create narrow channels, and a frame or crossbar can block areas the robot cannot access. The side brush and mop arm may reduce edge gaps, but they cannot clean an inaccessible recess.

Roborock calls the system StarSight Autonomous System. It combines solid-state 3D ToF sensing with an RGB camera. Roborock claims the Qrevo Slim can recognize and avoid 73 types of objects and detect objects as small as 3 ร 3 cm in its internal testing. Those are manufacturer claims, and the company notes that recognition varies with environmental conditions.

Low-profile navigation and obstacle avoidance solve different problems. The first helps the robot fit beneath furniture; the second helps it avoid shoes, cables, toys, and pet items. A robot can succeed at one and struggle with the other.
Thin cords, dark or transparent objects, reflective surfaces, partially hidden items, and clutter remain higher-risk obstacles. Cables can still be dragged or wrapped around the brush. Pet waste should never be treated as reliably avoidable without independent testing. Clear cables, socks, toys, and fragile objects before scheduled runs.
Does it clean well once it gets underneath?
The Qrevo Slim combines a DuoRoller Riser main brush with a DuoDivide brush design, dual spinning mop pads, and Roborockโs FlexiArm Side Brush and Mop. The extendable brush and mop mechanisms are intended to reduce the uncleaned strip beside walls and furniture. โReduces edge gapsโ is the realistic expectationโnot perfect cleaning of every corner.

Roborock lists maximum suction of 11,000 Pa in Max+ mode under its stated IEC-based test conditions. Pa figures are not directly comparable across brands and do not by themselves predict carpet pickup, pet-hair performance, noise, or battery life.

The robot can vacuum and mop mixed flooring. Its mop modules can lift by up to 10 mm in Roborockโs internal testing, and Carpet Boost+ is intended to increase vacuuming performance on carpet. Mop lifting helps, but configure mopping conservatively if your home has substantial carpet. Long, loose, or shag carpet can still cause tangles and navigation problems. The available evidence does not establish independent Qrevo Slim carpet or pet-hair performance.
The dock automates most routine chores
The Multifunctional Dock 3.0 provides:
- Automatic dustbin emptying.
- Automatic onboard water refilling.
- Hot-water mop washing.
- Warm-air mop drying.
- Dock self-cleaning.
The dock needs a hard, flat floor against a wall. Roborock recommends approximately 0.9 m (2.9 ft) of vertical clearance, 0.4 m (1.3 ft) of width, and 1.2 m (3.9 ft) of depth. The robot may be slim, but the dock is not smallโan important consideration in an apartment or tight utility area.
The Qrevo Slim does not include a cleaning-solution cartridge, according to Roborockโs product FAQ. Buyers who want automatic detergent dosing should compare competing premium docks carefully. A refill-and-drainage variant is listed in some markets, but availability and installation requirements are regional.
App, Wi-Fi, privacy, and maintenance
The Qrevo Slim requires the Roborock app and agreement to its terms. The US product page lists app control, an intelligent voice assistant, remote viewing, pet snaps, and pet search. It supports 2.4-GHz Wi-Fi only; 5-GHz Wi-Fi is not supported. Confirm that your router can provide a compatible 2.4-GHz network before setup. Regional manuals are available through Roborockโs manual hub.

Because the robot includes an RGB camera and remote-viewing features, privacy-sensitive buyers should review current app permissions, account security, and Roborockโs privacy settings. This article does not assume a specific data-retention or cloud policy.
The dock reduces daily work but does not make the vacuum maintenance-free. Expect to clean filters and sensors, remove hair from the brush, inspect wheels and mop modules, clean the dock wash area, replace consumables, and investigate trapped debris or error messages.

The Roborock Saros 10R is the most important comparison. RTINGS lists it as clearing 8.0 cm (3.1 inches) in testingโslightly lower than the Qrevo Slimโand reports stronger obstacle-avoidance performance than the Qrevo Curv. It is generally positioned higher in the range, so its value depends on the current price. The same independent comparison indicates that pet-hair pickup can still be a weakness. The Qrevo Curv prioritizes chassis mobility and threshold handling rather than ultra-low furniture access. In the RTINGS comparison, it cleared 10.5 cm, making it much taller than the Qrevo Slim, while the Saros 10R reached a tested threshold of 3.8 cm. That threshold result should not be transferred to the Qrevo Slim without a model-specific test.

Who should buy the Qrevo Slim?
Buy it when your main problem is furniture clearance around 8.7โ10 cm, you want vacuuming and dual-pad mopping, and you value a dock that empties dust, refills water, washes mops, and dries them. It is especially compelling when its sale price is materially below the Saros 10R and your home has mostly hard floors or low-to-medium-pile carpet.
Skip it if your furniture is below 8.2 cm, your home has tall thresholds, thick shag carpet, heavy clutter, unusually demanding pet-hair cleanup, or you require automatic detergent dispensing. Also choose another model if you want a newer flagship and are willing to pay for stronger navigation or chassis capabilities.
Roborockโs US store showed the Qrevo Slim at $699.99 against a displayed $1,399.99 comparison price when checked on August 18, 2026. Treat that as a time-sensitive sale snapshot, not a permanent MSRP. Check the official buying page for the current price and availability.
Replacement accessories listed on the official page included mop cloths, dust bags, floor-cleaning solution, side brushes, filters, main brushes, and threshold ramps. Those prices also change, so consider recurring consumables alongside the purchase price.
