Prime Day 2026 ran June 23–26 and has ended. The useful question now is not which Waterdrop system had the biggest advertised discount, but which model suits your household, plumbing, water quality, cabinet space, and long-term filter budget. For most larger families, the Waterdrop G3P800 is the strongest all-round choice. The G3P600 costs less, the X12 adds mineralization and a longer warranty, and countertop models are better when you cannot modify the plumbing.

Use this guide to evaluate current listings and future Prime Day offers. Prices, coupons, inventory, Prime eligibility, bundles, and warranty terms can change.

Quick picks

Best for Model Why consider it Main drawback
Value G3P600 600 GPD tankless RO, smart faucet, lower purchase price No listed UV feature; 2:1 pure-to-drain ratio
Most larger families G3P800 800 GPD, UV sterilization, smart faucet, 3:1 ratio Requires under-sink plumbing, power, and ongoing filter purchases
Premium family setup X12 1,200 GPD, alkaline mineralization, adjustable volumes, two-year warranty Higher cost and wider cabinet footprint
Maximum capacity X16 1,600 GPD and 3:1 ratio Potentially excessive for ordinary use; verify the live listing
Instant hot water K6 RO filtration plus ambient and instant-hot dispensing More specialized than a standard cold-water RO system
No installation A1, K19, or N1 Countertop operation for renters and temporary homes Lower output and reservoir refilling

First decide whether your family needs reverse osmosis

Reverse osmosis is not automatically necessary for every household. It is most useful when you want substantial reduction of dissolved contaminants such as certain heavy metals, fluoride, nitrate, PFAS, or high total dissolved solids—and when the particular system has a verified claim for the contaminant that concerns you.

Begin with your local water-quality report. If you use a private well, arrange an appropriate laboratory test before choosing equipment. Then identify the actual problem: chlorine taste, sediment, hardness, nitrate, lead, PFAS, or something else. Match that problem to the model’s performance data sheet and certification record.

Waterdrop G3P600 Tankless Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System, 600 GPD
  • [Trusted certifications]: Waterdrop G3P600 reverse osmosis system is certified against NSF/ANSI 58 for TDS reduction and NSF/ANSI 372 certified for lead-free material. Also it has been tested and certified against NSF 42 to reduce chlorine, bad taste and odor. The tankless reverse osmosis system is also certified by the Federal Communications Commission. Besides, it meets the EU Standards and UKCA Standards for safety
  • [8-stage filtration]: Tested by official third-party laboratory (SGS), the reverse osmosis system can effectively reduce TDS, chromium, PFAS, radium, fluoride, arsenic salt, iron, calcium, particles, chloride, chlorine and radioactive substances in your tap water. And our RO water filter system can reduce chemicals such as vinyl chloride, ethylhexyl acrylate, isobutylene, ethylene glycol, according to the reverse osmosis membrane technical manual
  • [Smart display faucet]: The tankless reverse osmosis system is built with a smart display faucet. For instance, the TDS monitor tells you the quality of your filtered water, while the filter life tracker shows how soon you need to replace your filter
  • [High capacity, 2:1 low drain ratio]: As an upgraded reverse osmosis system, this reverse osmosis water system produces 600 gallons of filtered water per day. By its low drain ratio, this system can produce only one cup of waste water for every two cups of pure water produced. Furthermore, with a fast and stable water flow rate, this RO system fills a 8 oz cup of water in 8 seconds, which is ideal for drinking and washing vegetables
  • [Tankless design]: Waterdrop G3P600 reverse osmosis system has a stylish look. This tankless design saves 70% under sink space. You can change a filter in 3 seconds without moving the system or using any tools. Note: This reverse osmosis system requires under-sink electricity

A conventional carbon filter may be the better-value solution when your concern is mainly chlorine, odor, sediment, or a contaminant addressed by a simpler certified filter. Lower TDS is not a complete measure of safety, and a TDS display cannot detect every contaminant.

Why the G3P800 is the safest central recommendation

The G3P800 offers a useful combination for a busy family: a stated 800-GPD capacity, tankless operation, UV sterilization, a smart display faucet, and a 3:1 purified-to-drain ratio. Waterdrop’s official material identifies certification by IAPMO R&T to NSF/ANSI 42, 53, and 58 for specified claims, plus NSF/ANSI 372 for low-lead materials. That means certified reductions for listed contaminants—not removal of everything in the water.

The listed dimensions are approximately 18.1 × 5.7 × 17.7 inches. Measure the cabinet, including plumbing and filter-removal clearance, before ordering. You also need a cold-water connection, drain connection, compatible dedicated faucet, and electrical power.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

The G3P800 is not automatically right for everyone. A smaller household may save money with the G3P600, while someone who wants alkaline mineralization and a two-year warranty may prefer the X12. A renter may be better served by a countertop unit.

Model-by-model comparison

Waterdrop G3P600: best value for ordinary household use

The G3P600 is aimed at small-to-medium families that want tankless under-sink RO without paying for maximum output. Waterdrop lists a 600-GPD capacity, an eight-stage configuration, a 2:1 pure-to-drain ratio, and smart-faucet monitoring.

Its stated filter schedule is approximately six months for the CF filter, 12 months for the CB filter, and 24 months for the RO membrane. Waterdrop also states that a six-ounce cup can fill in about 6.5 seconds. Treat that as a manufacturer figure, not independent testing; actual flow depends on pressure, temperature, installation, and filter condition.

Choose it if: you mainly need drinking and cooking water and want the lower purchase price. Skip it if: UV sterilization, instant hot water, alkaline mineralization, or maximum dispensing speed matters more than price.

Waterdrop G3P800 Tankless Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System, 800 GPD
  • [10-Stage filtration] Tested by official third-party laboratory (SGS), through 10-stage filtration, G3P800 can effectively reduce PFAS, fluoride, heavy metals like lead, chromium, iron, salts like nitrate and chloride as well as large particles and radioactive substances such as radium. Our RO system can reduce such as vinyl chloride, ethylhexyl acrylate, isobutylene, monobutyl ether, according to the reverse osmosis membrane technical manual
  • [NSF/ANSI standard 42 & 53 & 58 & 372 certified] This tankless reverse osmosis system is certified by IAPMO R&T against NSF/ANSI 58 for reduction of TDS; NSF 42 & 53 to reduce chlorine, bad taste, odor and so on. Besides, the system is certified by NSF/ANSI 372 for lead-free materials
  • [800 GPD high capacity, 3:1 pure to drain ratio] The Waterdrop G3P800 reverse osmosis system offers a higher water capacity (800 gallons per day), thereby meeting demands of a big family for pure water. Furthermore, by high water flow, it filters one cup of water in just 5s. By an advanced water dispensing technology, this tankless RO water filter system produces just a cup of wastewater for every three cups of filtered water produced
  • [Smart faucet, LED function] G3P800 is equipped with a smart faucet, by which you can get the TDS level and water quality at a glance. The lifespan of LED lamp is up to 50 years. The LED can be automatically turned on when water flows by
  • [Stylish look, tankless design] The RO system G3P800 has a stylish look. The tankless design saves under sink space and ensures the safety of water. The system can consistently produce water and ensures purity in every drop. You can get purified water anytime without waiting

A Waterdrop page snapshot showed $429, marked down from $539. That is a dated price signal, not a current or guaranteed Prime Day price. Check the exact configuration before buying: base, alkaline, remineralization, and filter-bundle versions are different products.

Waterdrop G3P800: best all-rounder for larger families

The G3P800 increases stated capacity to 800 GPD and adds UV sterilization. Its 3:1 ratio is also more efficient than the G3P600’s advertised 2:1 ratio. It is a sensible fit for families of four or more, frequent cooking, coffee and ice use, or entertaining.

Waterdrop lists feed-water temperature of 41–100°F, pressure of 14.5–87 psi, and municipal tap water as the feed-water requirement. The manual should control if it differs from a product page. Do not assume a well-water installation is suitable merely because the unit is physically compatible.

Choose it if: you want a strong balance of output, water efficiency, UV, and convenience. Skip it if: you lack an outlet, have unsuitable source water, have very low pressure, or do not want filter-maintenance costs.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Waterdrop X12: premium choice for mineralization and control

The X12 is listed at 1,200 GPD, with 11-stage filtration, alkaline mineralization, adjustable water volumes, a 3:1 ratio, and a two-year warranty. Its approximate dimensions are 18.2 × 6.25 × 16.72 inches, making it wider than the G3 models.

This is a premium choice for a large household that prefers a more mineral-like taste and wants extra capacity and warranty coverage. Remineralization is primarily a taste and mineral-content preference; it is not automatically healthier, and “alkaline” is not a substitute for contaminant certification.

Choose it if: mineralization, adjustable dispensing, and the longer warranty justify the price. Skip it if: you have a small household, limited cabinet width, or want the lowest total cost.

NOTE: An electrical outlet and drilling holes is required to operate it

Price snapshots varied from roughly $899 to $1,099 depending on page and configuration. Confirm the current price, included cartridge, and warranty on the live listing.

Waterdrop X16: for unusually high demand

The X16 is the highest-capacity option listed in Waterdrop’s comparison material, at 1,600 GPD, with 11 stages, ambient dispensing, and a 3:1 ratio. Filter intervals are listed at approximately 12 months, six months, and 24 months for its three filter assemblies.

Do not buy it solely because the capacity or discount percentage is larger. GPD is a rated production figure under stated conditions, not a promise of that output in every kitchen. Verify the X16’s live price, availability, certification details, warranty, dimensions, and bundle contents before purchase.

Waterdrop K6: buy it for the hot-water function

The K6 should be evaluated as an RO system combined with an instant-hot-water appliance, not simply as a faster G3P800. Waterdrop’s FAQ lists 600 GPD, five filtration stages, no installation, ambient and instant-hot dispensing, and a 12-month lifespan for its listed filter.

It may be worthwhile for tea, coffee, oatmeal, baby-food preparation, or frequent hot-water use. It is a poor fit if you only need cold drinking water and want the simplest, least expensive setup. Families with children should verify current child-lock and temperature controls and consider faucet placement and burn safety.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

A1, K19, and N1: countertop convenience for renters

These no-installation systems are useful for renters, dorms, offices, and temporary homes. Waterdrop lists the A1 at 100 GPD and the K19 and N1 at 75 GPD. They avoid a drain line and dedicated faucet, but require reservoir filling, counter space, and more hands-on management.

Choose a countertop model when plumbing changes are impossible. Choose an under-sink unit when your family needs high-volume, continuous dispensing and has suitable plumbing and power.

Understand water waste before comparing discounts

A pure-to-drain ratio of 3:1 generally means three parts purified water for each part sent to the drain, under the manufacturer’s stated testing conditions. It does not mean the system “saves 1,200% water.” That promotional wording is confusing and should not replace the actual ratio.

  • G3P800: 3:1
  • X12: 3:1
  • X16: 3:1
  • G3P600: 2:1
  • K6: 2:1
  • Several countertop models: 3:1, according to Waterdrop’s FAQ

Real performance can vary with inlet pressure, temperature, water chemistry, installation, and filter condition. If conserving water matters, compare the ratio and consider routing reject water for appropriate non-drinking uses where local plumbing and manufacturer guidance permit it.

Certification claims need careful reading

NSF/ANSI standards do different jobs:

  • NSF/ANSI 42 generally covers aesthetic effects such as taste, odor, chlorine, and certain particulate claims.
  • NSF/ANSI 53 covers health-related reduction claims, but only for contaminants specifically listed in the certification record.
  • NSF/ANSI 58 applies to reverse-osmosis systems and specified reduction claims.
  • NSF/ANSI 372 concerns lead content in materials. It is not, by itself, proof that the complete system removes lead from water.

Read the G3P800 performance data sheet and the exact certification record rather than relying on badge graphics. Claims such as “reduces more than 1,000 contaminants” or “removes 99% of PFAS” must be tied to the specific model, tested contaminant, and stated conditions. Do not generalize them across every Waterdrop system.

Installation: the construction details that matter

Under-sink tankless systems typically require:

  • A compatible cold-water supply connection.
  • A drain connection, usually involving a drain saddle or equivalent fitting.
  • A dedicated or compatible faucet and an available faucet hole.
  • An electrical outlet for the pump, display, UV system, or controls.
  • Enough cabinet width, depth, height, and filter-removal clearance.
  • Municipal water that meets the model’s feed-water requirements.
  • Suitable inlet pressure and temperature.

Waterdrop may advertise easy or 30-minute installation, but old shutoff valves, cramped cabinets, missing faucet holes, leaks, nonstandard plumbing, or difficult drain access can make the job substantially longer. Shut off the water before disconnecting fittings, protect the cabinet floor, and follow the model-specific manual. Hire a plumber if the supply valve will not close, the drain connection is uncertain, or local rules require professional work.

Tankless systems save storage-tank space and produce water on demand, but they depend on electricity and contain more pumps and electronic controls. A power outage can stop production, so keep an emergency drinking-water plan.

Calculate ownership cost, not just the sale price

For the G3P800, Waterdrop lists approximate replacement intervals of:

  • CF filter: six months or 550 gallons.
  • CB filter: 12 months or 1,100 gallons.

  • [Affordable choice] The G2P600 tankless RO system reduces your replacement cost and upgrades the water-saving technology with a drain ratio of 2:1. Dispensing 2 cups of pure water will produce only 1 cup of waste water. Compared to traditional RO water purifiers, the RO system saves 60% more water. You can use waste water to mop the floor, wash your car, do laundry, etc.
  • [Superior product design] You can finish the installation by yourself in 30 minutes. Due to the filter’s twist-and-pull design, you can change a filter in 3 seconds without moving the system or using any tools. Two CF filters $59.98
Two CB filters $59.98
One RO membrane $139.99
Approximate two-year replacement total $259.95

This excludes tax, shipping, subscriptions, electricity, installation, optional remineralization cartridges, replacement faucets, and filters discarded early because of poor source-water quality. It also assumes the stated schedule rather than your actual consumption. Treat these as dated price snapshots, not guaranteed current prices.

How to evaluate a future Prime Day deal

  1. Record the normal price first. A crossed-out list price is not necessarily the relevant market price.
  2. Compare identical configurations. Base, alkaline, remineralization, extra-filter, electric-pitcher, and retailer-exclusive bundles are not interchangeable.
  3. Add filter costs. Compare appliance price plus at least two years of expected replacement filters.
  4. Verify the seller. Check the exact seller, model number, return terms, delivery date, and warranty eligibility.
  5. Check certification claims. Confirm the model and specific reductions in the performance data sheet.
  6. Compare Waterdrop’s own promotion. The official store may offer a different bundle or coupon.
  7. Do not buy excess capacity for a bigger percentage discount. A 1,600-GPD system is not better value if your household does not need it.
  8. Use price alerts. Amazon recommends setting a target price and receiving a notification when an item reaches it; see its Prime Day guidance.
  9. Buy filters only when the discount is genuine and storage is practical.

The 2026 event was announced for June 23–26, and Waterdrop promoted deals over the same dates. Since that event has ended, do not describe a current listing as a Prime Day deal without verifying the retailer page.

Troubleshooting common problems

Leaks after installation

Shut off the feed-water valve and unplug the unit if water is near electrical components. Dry the cabinet, identify the exact connection, reseat tubing, inspect O-rings, and check the filter housing and drain connection. If the leak continues, stop using the system and contact Waterdrop support.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Low flow or slow production

Check inlet pressure, feed-water temperature, filter age, tubing, drain installation, electrical power, and air introduced during filter replacement. Follow the initial flushing and startup procedure before concluding that the system has failed.

Bad taste after installation

New carbon filters and membranes often require flushing. Confirm that every filter is fully seated, discard the initial water as directed, and then reassess the taste. Stagnant water, plumbing odor, source-water chemistry, and the preference for plain versus remineralized RO water can also matter.

Unexpectedly high TDS

Confirm whether the faucet displays feed-water or product-water TDS. Check startup flushing, membrane installation, membrane age, and the reading with an independent meter under comparable conditions. TDS does not prove the absence of PFAS, pathogens, lead, or other specific contaminants.

Well water or low pressure

The G3P800 specification identifies municipal tap water as its feed-water requirement. Well-water users should review the manual and test pressure, turbidity, microbial status, and water chemistry before installation. Pretreatment may be necessary, and professional water-treatment advice is sensible for complex wells.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Which one should your family buy?

Choose the G3P600 if you want the lowest-cost under-sink tankless option for ordinary drinking and cooking. Choose the G3P800 if you have a larger family, entertain often, want UV sterilization, and can accommodate the installation. Choose the X12 if alkaline mineralization, adjustable dispensing, and a two-year warranty justify the premium. Choose the X16 only when unusually high demand makes its capacity useful and the live listing confirms its price and specifications. Choose the K6 when instant hot water is central to the purchase. Choose A1, K19, or N1 when you rent or cannot alter plumbing.

Before any purchase, confirm the contaminant you need to address, verify the model-specific certification claim, measure the cabinet, check water pressure and power, and price the replacement filters. That checklist is more reliable than choosing whichever Prime Day badge or discount percentage looks largest.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
