There is not enough firsthand evidence to call this a genuine 10-month review or to claim that the ProBreeze changed anyone’s view of memory foam. What can be assessed is Tempur-Pedic’s current U.S. product information and policies: the company advertises cooling performance of up to 5° cooler, offers a 90-night trial for qualifying direct purchases, and provides a limited warranty for specified defects. Those facts do not establish how a particular owner slept on the mattress for ten months.
What this review can—and cannot—tell you
A ten-month owner review should identify the exact mattress configuration and purchase year, then describe the reviewer’s own sleep experience over time. No verified purchase record, model label, or firsthand account is available here. That means there is no basis to report personal cooling results, comfort changes, motion transfer, odor, durability, or a conversion from disliking to loving memory foam.

The distinction matters because Tempur-Pedic’s current product page may not describe an older ProBreeze unit exactly. Before using any current product description to judge a mattress already in a bedroom, confirm its precise model, feel, size, and purchase year.
Does the Tempur-Pedic ProBreeze sleep cool?
Tempur-Pedic’s current U.S. Breeze page describes cooling materials and promotes the ProBreeze as “up to 5° cooler.” That is the manufacturer’s claim, not an independently verified bedroom-temperature difference or a result established for a particular owner’s mattress. The page does not establish the conditions behind that figure or show that it applies to every ProBreeze version. See Tempur-Pedic’s current Breeze product information.
#1 Best Overall
- 12-INCH MATTRESS: Medium-feel hybrid mattress.
- INNOVATIVE COOLING MATERIAL: Tempur-Pedic Pure Cool Plus Material is designed to pull heat away from your body, helping you sleep cool—all night long.
- PRESSURE-RELIEVING MATERIAL: One-of-kind Tempur-Pedic Ventilated Advanced Relief Material is enhanced with added ventilation for increased airflow—for deeper, more restful sleep.
- HEAT-DIFFUSING LAYER: This exclusive technology is added to the top of our Pure Cool material to work with Ventilated Advanced Relief material to help absorb excess heat throughout the night and provide an enhanced cooling effect.
- COOL-TO-THE-TOUCH COVER: A patented removable, machine-washable cover has heat-absorbing fibers that draw heat away from the body for cooling comfort.
For a useful personal cooling assessment, a reviewer would need to report their own experience and identify the mattress configuration and context. No such ten-month observations are established here, so the cooling claim should not be mistaken for a finding about how the mattress feels in everyday use.
Is the ProBreeze worth the price?
Worth depends on the specific configuration and current price, neither of which can be determined for an unverified review unit. Tom’s Guide describes the Breeze range as a premium-priced cooling line in its September 2026 buying and deals coverage; that is context for its market positioning, not a stable price quote or a ten-month product test. For qualifying purchases made directly from Tempur-Pedic in the United States, the current 90-night trial begins on delivery. The company says to allow at least 30 days for the mattress to soften; it explains that a new mattress can initially feel firmer and soften as it adapts to a person’s weight, shape, and temperature. The company states a nonrefundable return fee of $175 plus tax. Purchases from retailers are excluded from this direct-purchase trial, and returns are unavailable after the 90-day period. What does the mattress warranty cover?
Tempur-Pedic says mattresses purchased from March 2014 onward have a 10-year limited warranty for specified manufacturing defects. Its stated examples include cracking or splitting and a depression of at least 3/4 inch. Comfort issues are excluded, so dissatisfaction with how a mattress feels is not the same as a covered defect. The trial and warranty serve different purposes: a return is governed by the purchase’s trial terms, while warranty coverage is limited to eligible defects. Check the policy and applicable terms for the specific purchase. Tempur-Pedic’s mattress warranty policy.

Tempur-Pedic says its mattresses typically last 8–12 years with proper care and regular use, and reports that many customers say theirs last more than 12 years. These are manufacturer statements, not the result of an independent durability study, and they do not establish the lifespan of a ProBreeze unit after ten months. Tempur-Pedic’s lifespan statement.

What to verify before comparing reviews or buying
- Match the review or listing to the exact ProBreeze model, feel, size, and product year.
- Treat “up to 5° cooler” as a manufacturer claim, not a guaranteed result in your bedroom.
- Check who is selling the mattress and which trial and return terms apply to that purchase.
- Read the warranty’s defect criteria separately from comfort expectations.
