Water and air control
Look for the stated drainage strategy, pressure-equalized cavities, sill flashing, end dams and perimeter seals. Field and laboratory tests may address air leakage, water penetration and structural performance. A visual description of a wall is not evidence that it passed a particular test.
Thermal and daylight behavior
