LMC Construction says its new Tacoma office is officially open, extending the company’s Washington presence from a waterfront location and giving the expansion a visual signature: a custom mural showing the skylines of Tacoma and Portland beneath the words “Sky’s the Limit.” The company says the phrase captures its determination to keep moving forward and find new ways to serve the region.

The update also mentions a grand-opening celebration. It does not state the celebration’s date, give the office’s street address, or identify a public opening date. Those details should not be inferred from the announcement.
What the “Sky’s the Limit” mural represents
The office’s custom mural depicts both the Tacoma and Portland skylines. Painted across the mural is the phrase “Sky’s the Limit.” LMC says the wording reflects a forward-looking mindset: continuing to push ahead and looking for new ways to serve the region.

That makes the mural more than a decorative feature in the company’s account. Tacoma represents the office’s new Washington base, while Portland connects the artwork to the company’s existing regional identity. The two skylines provide a visual link between the markets without establishing any specific project relationship between them.
Why the Tacoma location matters to the company
LMC describes the opening as part of its broader Washington expansion. A local office can give a contractor a base for relationships with owners, designers, subcontractors and community stakeholders, but the announcement does not disclose staffing levels, investment, a project pipeline or Tacoma contracts. It therefore supports reporting the expansion itself, not assumptions about the scale or commercial impact of the new location.
