The Seenda gaming chair reviewed by New Atlas earned a qualified thumbs-up for casual gaming, but it is not an easy recommendation for full-time desk work. Reviewer Joe Salas found it comfortable and sturdier than expected, while criticizing its head support and buzzing massage pillow. His review dates to December 5, 2025, and does not name the chair’s model, so its specifications and past price should not be treated as current lineup-wide facts.
Is the Seenda gaming chair worth it?
For casual gaming, Salas’s experience was positive: he said the chair stayed comfortable for hours, felt sturdy, and was easy to clean. He considered it good value at the price he observed, but said he would not choose it for his full-time desk job. That makes the verdict most relevant to occasional or recreational use, rather than a guarantee of comfort for every body or a substitute for an ergonomic assessment.
Salas’s review was a hands-on account of one chair, not a long-term durability test. New Atlas published it on December 5, 2025, and did not identify the chair by model number. The review therefore cannot establish which current SEENDA listing was tested.
What did the reviewer like about the chair?
Salas described firm, flat-profile foam that was 4.8 inches thick and a 21.65-inch-wide seat. He reported that the backrest reclined from 90° to 135°, the chair had a pull-out footrest, and its rubberized wheels moved quietly on his tile and hardwood floors. He also said the chair’s stated capacity was 330 lb. These are details reported for his reviewed unit, not verified specifications for every SEENDA chair.

#1 Best Overall
- Most Comfortable And Relaxing: Equipped with headrest and lumbar pillow. When your neck feels sore from gaming or working with head down for a long time, the headrest will relieve your fatigue. When tired from maintaining a same sitting posture, please rest assured to lean back and charge your waist pillow, it will relax your tired waist energetically.
- More Stable Than Others: Common gaming chairs are equipped with plastic legs generally to save costs, but we still insist on applying the same material as the built-in metal frame. No fear of high or low temperature, no fear of the sunshine, no fear of wind, it will not rust and break. Whether child rolls on the chair or a pet jumps up excitedly, the sturdy metal legs will keep the chair stable firmly.
- Liberate Your Feet: Will you feel tired for sitting all the time? Sure. Then you can choose the chair with footrest to relax your feet. When you don’t want to straighten your back and sit, just take out the footrest, put your feet up, turn on your favorite music, and start enjoying the comfort! And don’t worry about clean, it is also made of high-quality PU leather, just wipe it with a soft cloth and it will shine as new.
- Reject Short-Lived Chairs: We never hesitate to apply materials. Armrests must be padded from the position of the elbow to the wrist, built-in metal frame must be wider, and the foam under the leather must be rich, it can’t collapse as if we are sitting on a hard stone when leaning up. The chair has gone through thousands of rotation and sitting experiments before mass production. Sufficient and premium materials can ensure the chair to withstand long-term use.
- Worry-Free Purchase: A detailed instruction will be sent to you along with all accessories so that you can assemble the chair easily. Free replacement or refund within 30 days. Free replacement or repair within 1 year. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact us, we will do our best to make our customers satisfied.
Assembly took him about 25 minutes, though he noted that the chair involved many screws. His comments on comfort, assembly, and rolling reflect his own setup and experience.
What are the main drawbacks?
- Head support: Salas said the headrest did not come far enough forward to support his head comfortably. Reclined users who rely on a headrest may want to check its position and adjustability before buying.
- Massage pillow: He found the buzzing unpleasant and removed the lumbar module. A massage feature is not automatically an advantage if its sensation is distracting or uncomfortable.
- Armrests: The armrest height was not adjustable on the reviewed chair, which can affect fit depending on a user’s desk height and body proportions.
- USB cable: Salas found the cable attached to the massage pillow awkward because it dangled.

- Decide whether you want a massage lumbar pillow; Salas’s experience shows that its buzzing may not suit everyone.
