Quick answer for U.S. owners: Go to SharkNinja’s current product-registration page, sign in to your SharkNinja account or create one, enter the vacuum’s exact model and purchase details, and save the confirmation.
The current U.S. process runs through a SharkNinja account. Registration can make product support, warranty information, troubleshooting, parts, and accessories easier to manage, but it does not replace your receipt or override the warranty terms for your specific model.

This procedure is for a vacuum purchased in the United States. Shark’s registration and warranty rules differ by country, so do not apply the U.K. 28-day guarantee-registration rule to a U.S. purchase.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsThe fastest way to register a Shark vacuum
- Open the current U.S. registration page: sharkninja.com/product-registration.
- Sign in or create a SharkNinja account. Unsigned visitors are currently sent to the SharkNinja login page. If you do not have an account, choose Create account.
- Enter the product information: select the product type if requested, then enter the exact model number and the serial number if the form requests one and your vacuum has one.
- Enter the purchase details: use the purchase date shown on the receipt or retailer order record, along with the actual retailer or store.
- Submit the form and preserve the confirmation. Save the confirmation email or take a screenshot of the confirmation page if no email arrives.
Have the vacuum, box, owner’s manual, receipt, and retailer order record nearby before you begin. With those details ready, the process is usually straightforward; the exact fields can vary by product and by the current version of the form.

What to prepare before starting
| Information | What to use | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Model number | The identifier printed on the vacuum, box, or manual—for example, NV360, AZ3002, IZ373H, VM252GN, or an RV-series robot model. | It identifies the exact product for support, parts, accessories, and warranty information. |
| Serial number | The product label, QR-code label, battery, or owner’s guide, if your model has or requests one. | Some models use a serial number; others make the model number and purchase information more prominent. |
| Purchase date | The date on the receipt, invoice, or online order record. | U.S. warranty coverage is generally tied to the original purchase date. Do not substitute the delivery date unless the form or warranty terms specifically ask for it. |
| Retailer | The store or seller shown on your receipt, such as SharkNinja, Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Target, or Costco. | The warranty terms may require purchase from an authorized retailer. |
| Proof of purchase | The original receipt, retailer invoice, email confirmation, or downloadable order record. | Shark’s reviewed U.S. warranty instructions identify the receipt as proof of purchase for a warranty claim. |
| Contact details | Your name, email address, mailing address, and possibly phone number. | These details may be requested for the account and registration record. |
SharkNinja describes registration information as including personal details, product type, model number, serial number, purchase date, and purchase location. See the company’s registration and accessibility information for the published description of the data fields.
Step-by-step: register through a SharkNinja account
1. Open the current registration route
Use https://www.sharkninja.com/product-registration. This is the current U.S. route, rather than an older standalone registration page.
Older manuals and articles may mention registeryourshark.com, a New Shark Owners banner, or a separate SharkClean registration form. The old sharkclean.com/register/guarantee address currently redirects visitors to SharkNinja’s login flow. That redirect does not necessarily mean your product cannot be registered.
2. Sign in or create your account
Choose Login if you already have a SharkNinja account. Otherwise, select Create account or go directly to SharkNinja account registration.
The current U.S. account form asks for your first name, last name, email address, and password. The displayed password rules require at least eight characters and four of these categories: lowercase letters, uppercase letters, numbers, and special characters. Marketing-email consent is shown separately; it is not the same thing as creating the account.
If you bought the vacuum directly from SharkNinja, first sign in with the account used for the purchase and check whether the product already appears in the account. Automatic association is clearly described for some U.K. purchases, but it should not be assumed to be a universal U.S. rule. If the product is not shown, use the product-registration route rather than assuming it is covered automatically.
3. Enter the exact product identifier
Use the model identifier printed on the machine—not only the marketing name. For example, Shark Stratos is a product family or marketing name, while AZ3002 is a model identifier. Likewise, a product described as a Navigator Lift-Away may have a model number such as NV360.
Recommended Free Tools
Enter the characters exactly as printed. Watch for confusing characters such as the letter O and zero, or the letter I and number one. If the form rejects spaces, try the model number without accidental spaces, but do not replace the model with a similar-looking product simply to make the form submit.
4. Add the purchase information
Use the original purchase date on your receipt or order record and identify the actual retailer. If you purchased through Amazon or another marketplace, check whether the order was sold by the retailer itself or by a third-party marketplace seller. Enter the seller or retailer information shown on the order documentation when the form allows it, and keep the complete invoice.

- SELF-CLEANING BRUSHROLL: Engineered for more pet hair pickup with no hair wrap (vs. Shark bristle nozzles)..Voltage:120 volts. Wattage : 1200 watts
- LIFT-AWAY FUNCTIONALITY: Detachable pod for cleaning under furniture or detach the nozzle to clean above the floor, on upholstery, furniture, stairs, and more.
- ANTI-ALLERGEN COMPLETE SEAL TECHNOLOGY: Works with a HEPA filter to trap dust and allergens inside the vacuum cleaner.
- PERFECT FOR PETS: The Pet Crevice Tool removes pet hair from hard-to-reach spaces like corners, ceilings, and between couch cushions.
- SWIVEL STEERING: Easily maneuver your vacuum to get in and out of tight spaces, in corners, around furniture, and more.
Registration does not by itself establish that a marketplace seller qualifies under the warranty. Shark’s U.S. warranty terms may require an authorized retailer, so retain the order record and confirm eligibility with Shark if the seller is unclear.
5. Submit and save evidence of registration
After submitting the form, save the confirmation email. If no email appears, take a screenshot of the confirmation page and note the date you registered. Keep that information with the receipt and a photograph of the vacuum’s model label.
A SharkNinja account can provide a central place for product information, support, warranty information, troubleshooting, parts, accessories, and orders. The available account features can change, so treat the account as a useful record—not as a replacement for your purchase documents.
Where to find the Shark model number and serial number
Shark’s U.S. support materials identify three dependable places to look for the model number:
- Near the barcode on the bottom of the product box.
- On the rating label on the back or bottom of the main vacuum unit.
- On the front cover of the owner’s manual.
Bottom barcode label
Look beside the barcode.
Back or bottom rating label
Look for MODEL or MODEL NO.
Front cover
Use the exact identifier printed there.
The serial-number location is more model-dependent. It may be on the same rating label, a QR-code label, the battery, or another location described in the owner’s guide. Cordless and robot vacuums may place identifying information on or near the battery or a QR label.
Do not invent a serial number if the vacuum does not display one. Check the main label, battery, QR-code label, and manual. If the registration form requires a serial number that you cannot find, contact Shark with a clear photograph of the label and your receipt. Shark’s U.S. support center provides the current contact options.

Not as a universal U.S. rule. Registration helps Shark identify your product and can make support and warranty administration easier, but it does not replace proof of purchase or change the written warranty terms for the model.
The U.S. warranty documents reviewed generally tie coverage to the original purchase date. They commonly require that the product was bought from an authorized retailer, apply to the original owner and original product, and require proof of purchase when a claim is made. The owner’s guides may ask customers to register the product so Shark can assist them, but the warranty-claim instructions separately emphasize contacting Shark and providing the receipt.

Keep the receipt even after registration. Do not assume that registration activates a warranty, extends every Shark warranty, proves ownership for an insurance or theft claim, guarantees recall notices, or makes a receipt unnecessary. Those broader benefits are not established as universal U.S. registration benefits in the official materials reviewed.
How long is a Shark vacuum warranty?
Warranty length is model-specific. Do not promise five years for every Shark vacuum. Verify the term on the exact product page, owner’s guide, warranty document, or product record in your SharkNinja account.

|---|---|---|
| Shark Navigator Deluxe NV360 | Five-year limited warranty | An example only; it does not establish the term for other Navigator models. |
| Shark VACMOP VM252GN | One-year limited warranty | Shows why a universal five-year statement would be misleading. |
| Shark Stratos AZ3002 | Five-year warranty | Check the current product page and documentation for the exact unit. |
| Cordless models | The battery may have a separate warranty term. | Review the specific battery and vacuum warranty documents; do not assume both terms are identical. |
The Shark warranty documentation also illustrates why battery coverage should be checked separately on applicable cordless models.
Common registration problems and what to do
| Problem | Recovery steps |
|---|---|
| The old SharkClean link redirects to login | Use product registration, SharkNinja login, or account creation. Sign in, then return to product registration. The redirect is consistent with the current site transition. |
| The model number is rejected | Copy the number from the vacuum’s rating label or manual. Check O versus 0 and I versus 1, remove accidental spaces if necessary, and verify that you are using the U.S. site. Do not select a different model just to submit the form. If it still fails, photograph the label and contact support. |
| No serial number is visible | Check the main rating label, QR-code label, battery, and owner’s guide. Some models do not present an obvious separate serial-number label. If the form requires one, ask Shark how to proceed rather than guessing. |
| The receipt is missing | Look in retailer order history, search email for the order confirmation, download the online invoice, request a store reprint, and preserve any payment record together with the other purchase details. Do not assume a credit-card statement alone will satisfy a warranty claim; the reviewed U.S. warranty instructions call for a receipt as proof of purchase. |
| The retailer is not listed | Do not choose a random retailer to force submission. Use the actual seller if a free-text option is available, save the receipt, and contact Shark if the retailer is absent. Authorized-retailer requirements can affect warranty eligibility. |
| The product appears to be already registered | Do not create a false duplicate record or change the model number. Check whether you are signed into the correct SharkNinja account, then contact Shark with the model number, serial number if available, receipt, and registration details. A product bought directly from SharkNinja may already be associated with the purchase account, but U.S. automatic registration should not be assumed. |
| The account or site shows the wrong country | Confirm that you are using the U.S. SharkNinja site for a U.S. purchase. Registration, guarantee length, deadlines, and eligibility are region-specific. |
| The form will not submit | Sign out and back in, reopen the direct registration page, try a private browser window or another browser, and disable autofill if it is inserting the wrong model or address. Keep photographs of the label and your receipt before contacting support. |
What if the vacuum was bought from Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Target, or Costco?
You can generally use the registration flow for a vacuum purchased from a retailer, but enter the actual purchase information and retain the retailer documentation. The key warranty question is not simply whether a store name appears in the form; it is whether the purchase satisfies the warranty’s retailer and seller requirements.
- Use the date on the retailer receipt or order record.
- Use the exact retailer or seller shown on the invoice.
- Download the invoice before the order history changes.
- If it was a marketplace purchase, identify the seller and keep the complete order record.
- Contact Shark if you are unsure whether the seller was authorized.
Gifts and secondhand Shark vacuums
Gifted vacuum
If the form permits, the recipient can try to register the product, but keep the purchaser’s receipt and purchase details. The original purchaser’s name or information may be needed for warranty support. Do not assume that registering the item in the recipient’s name transfers all warranty rights; the reviewed U.S. warranty language focuses on the original owner and original product.
Used or secondhand vacuum
Registration and warranty eligibility are separate issues. The reviewed U.S. warranty language says coverage is not transferable, so do not rely on registration to transfer a secondhand warranty. Ask Shark about the specific model and purchase history before paying for repairs or assuming coverage.
Robot vacuums: product registration versus app setup
A Shark robot may involve two different processes:
- Product or warranty registration: completed through the SharkNinja product-registration account flow.
- Device setup: completed through the SharkClean app when you connect the robot to Wi-Fi and use mapping or other connected features.
Connecting a robot to the SharkClean app does not necessarily complete every product-registration or warranty requirement. Shark’s privacy materials separately discuss connected-device registration and app data, and its support center provides instructions for downloading the SharkClean app. Complete the product-registration flow separately unless Shark’s current instructions explicitly combine the processes for your model.
How to start a Shark warranty claim
Registration is not the warranty claim itself. If the vacuum develops a covered problem:

- ULTRA-POWERFUL SUCTION: The Shark Vertex delivers ultra-powerful suction and innovative cleaning technology for deep cleaning on carpets, area rugs, and hard floors throughout your home.
- MULTI-SURFACE CLEANING: DuoClean PowerFins combines a PowerFins brushroll and soft roller to dig deep into carpets, directly engage hard floors, and pick up more dirt, debris, and pet hair in every pass (vs. original DuoClean).
- POWERED LIFT-AWAY: Detach the pod for motorized cleaning under furniture, or detach the nozzle to clean stairs, upholstery, furniture, and other above-floor surfaces using the included Dusting Brush for delicate surfaces.
- PERFECT FOR PETS: Includes a Pet Crevice Tool to remove embedded pet hair from stairs, furniture, corners, ceilings, and between couch cushions.
- SELF-CLEANING BRUSHROLL: Engineered for more pet hair pickup with no hair wrap (vs. Shark bristle nozzles), making this upright vacuum ideal for homes with pets and long hair.
- Find the exact model number and serial number if available.
- Locate the receipt or retailer invoice showing the purchase date.
- Review the warranty term and exclusions in the owner’s guide or model documentation.
- Use the current Shark U.S. support center or the contact route printed in your owner’s guide.
- Tell Shark that you want to initiate a warranty claim and provide the requested proof of purchase.
Many older U.S. owner guides list 1-800-798-7398, but contact details and service procedures can change. Verify the number in your own manual or through Shark’s current support center before calling.
Warranty terms commonly exclude normal wear and tear of wearable maintenance parts such as filters, as well as misuse, commercial use, unauthorized repairs, failure to maintain the product, and products purchased, used, or operated outside North America. If the vacuum is being used in a commercial or construction setting, check the commercial-use exclusion carefully.

Regional warning: The U.K. guarantee-registration deadline does not apply to U.S. purchases.
| Location | What the available guidance says |
|---|---|
| United States | Use the U.S. SharkNinja account and product-registration flow. Warranty length varies by model, and the reviewed U.S. documents tie coverage to purchase date and proof of purchase. No current U.S. registration deadline was identified in the official sources reviewed. |
| United Kingdom | The U.K. guarantee-registration guidance says registration can be required within 28 days of purchase to obtain an extended guarantee. Products bought directly from Shark’s U.K. site may be registered automatically, and guarantee length varies by product. |
| Other countries | Use the country-specific SharkNinja or SharkClean website and follow that region’s registration and guarantee terms. Do not assume the U.S. or U.K. process applies elsewhere. |

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to register my Shark vacuum in the United States?
The reviewed U.S. warranty materials encourage owners to register so Shark can assist with the product, but they do not establish one universal rule that registration is required for every U.S. warranty. A warranty claim still requires compliance with the specific model’s terms and proof of purchase.
Can I register a Shark vacuum without a receipt?
The form may or may not ask you to upload a receipt, but you should recover and keep the retailer receipt or invoice. Shark’s reviewed U.S. warranty instructions identify the receipt as proof of purchase for a warranty claim, so registration should not be treated as a substitute.
Can I register a Shark vacuum bought from Amazon?
Yes, use the product-registration flow and enter the purchase details shown in your Amazon order record. Keep the complete invoice and check whether the item was sold by Amazon, Shark, or a third-party seller because warranty eligibility may depend on the authorized-retailer terms.
Can I register a secondhand Shark vacuum?
You can ask Shark whether the specific product can be added to your account, but registration does not transfer a secondhand warranty. The reviewed U.S. warranty language says coverage is not transferable, so confirm eligibility with Shark before relying on it.

Where is the model number on a Shark vacuum?
Check near the barcode on the bottom of the box, the rating label on the back or bottom of the main unit, and the front cover of the owner’s manual. Use the model identifier—not only a name such as Navigator, Stratos, or VACMOP.
What if Shark’s registration site does not recognize my model?
Recheck the rating label and manual, verify O versus 0 and I versus 1, remove accidental spaces if needed, and confirm that you are on the correct country site. Do not choose a different model. If it still fails, contact Shark with a label photograph and proof of purchase.

Does registering extend my Shark warranty?
Do not assume it does. U.S. warranty length is model-specific, and registration does not universally activate or extend coverage. Check the exact product page, owner’s guide, or warranty record. The U.K. has a separate 28-day extended-guarantee rule that should not be applied to U.S. purchases.
Can I register more than one Shark product?
Use the same SharkNinja account and follow the registration process for each product rather than creating unnecessary accounts. If the account reports that a product is already registered or blocks a second record, contact Shark rather than changing the model or purchase details.
Is the SharkClean app the same as product registration?
No. For a connected robot, app setup links the device to Wi-Fi and connected features, while product or warranty registration is handled through the SharkNinja registration flow. Complete both when applicable.
Is there a U.S. deadline for registering a Shark vacuum?
No current U.S. registration deadline was identified in the official sources reviewed. Register soon after purchase so your product details are organized, but rely on the exact warranty terms for any deadline or eligibility requirement.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: For a U.S. Shark vacuum, use SharkNinja’s current product-registration page, sign in or create an account, enter the exact model and purchase information, and save the confirmation. Keep the receipt regardless of whether registration succeeds: it remains important for warranty service, whose length and eligibility depend on the specific model and purchase terms.
