- Do not force the extender onto a receptacle if its plug or screw holes do not align.
- A recessed, painted-over, damaged, or nonstandard outlet may prevent the body from sitting flush.
- The unit is not a repair for a loose receptacle or a substitute for correcting an electrical-box or wiring problem.
- If the receptacle moves, will not hold plugs securely, sparks, smells hot, or shows discoloration, stop using it and arrange an inspection by a qualified electrician.
Wide spacing may make bulky adapters easier to place than on a tightly packed strip, but large power bricks can still block adjacent outlets. The extender has no cord, so it also cannot move devices away from the wall outlet.

USB charging: basic output, not USB-C Power Delivery

AC load limits and appropriate uses
Newegg lists a maximum of 15 A / 1,875 W. That is a stated product limit, not a recommendation to run multiple high-wattage appliances together. Count the combined load of equipment plugged into the extender and follow the rating printed on the actual unit; the wall circuit and other loads on that circuit also matter.
For ordinary use, the format is better suited to lower- or moderate-power devices such as phone and tablet chargers, laptop power adapters, e-readers, desk lamps, and television or gaming accessories, provided the combined load remains within the product and circuit ratings. Do not infer that five receptacles make it appropriate for five demanding appliances. Space heaters, hair dryers, toasters, kettles, hot plates, air fryers, microwave ovens, refrigerators, compressors, and other high-wattage heating or motor loads call for particular caution and may be a poor fit for a compact wall tap. What the 1,680-joule surge claim does—and does not—establish
