How much did Parkeray’s profit increase?
Construction News reported that Parkeray’s pre-tax profit increased 37.6%, reaching £2.1m for the year ended 31 December 2025, compared with £1.5m in the previous year. The figure is attributed to Construction News reporting; the FY2025 amount has not been reconciled here against filed accounts. Construction News
Construction Wave reports a separate measure: operating profit of £1.6m, up from £1.1m. Pre-tax profit and operating profit are distinct accounting measures, so the £2.1m and £1.6m figures are not competing versions of the same number. Construction Wave
Turnover and project delivery also expanded
Construction Wave reports FY2025 turnover of £177.2m, compared with £144.5m in the prior year. Parkeray’s own group modern slavery statement rounds 2025 turnover to £178m and says the group delivered more than 185 projects, with project values ranging from a few thousand pounds to £20m. The rounded company figure accounts for the small difference from the trade report’s more precise turnover figure. Parkeray group modern slavery statement

As reported by Construction Wave, Parkeray’s management described 2025 as “a year of significant growth, bolstered by our highest-ever forward order book taken into the year.” The order book is an indicator of work secured or expected; it is not the same as projects delivered during the year.
Cash, net assets and staffing
Construction Wave reports cash of £26.3m at the relevant year-end, against £20m a year earlier, and net assets of £10.4m, against £9.2m. Parkeray’s group statement says it directly employed 180 staff. These figures provide additional context for the company’s scale, but they do not by themselves establish the causes of profit growth or the financial health of future projects.
