The careful interpretation is that steam assistance is designed to add moisture during cooking and reheating, particularly for foods that dry out easily. The manufacturer’s texture claims should not be treated as independently proven for every recipe.
Follow these instructions:
- Preheat the oven first.
- Add water only through the designated steam inlet.
- Use water—not oil, broth, or seasonings.

- Expect some condensation to appear on the inside of the door.

The getting-started guide separately says the oven cooks food up to 30% faster than a traditional oven and recommends using air-fryer or countertop-oven recipes.
These are manufacturer claims, not a guarantee that every meal will finish 30% faster. Preheat time and total cooking time are different measurements. A recipe may still need the same food-specific cooking time, turning, checking, or repositioning even when the oven reaches temperature quickly. Controls and day-to-day usability
