A person was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a passenger car struck the rear of a semi-truck in construction-related backed-up traffic on I-84 in Morgan County, Utah, just after 6 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2026, according to a KUTV report reproduced by Headtopics. Fire crews used heavy rescue tools to extricate the occupant.

What warning did the fire district give drivers?
